I'll tidy this up more like a journal over time but here are the Gods and Goddesses:
THE FIRST GODS:
Emiel, the first God. The Warrior god and father to most of the major eight Gods, he does not leave their sacred home where all warriors go when they die in combat. He is a giant.
Erling, Goddess, the first Goddess and wife to Emiel. Erling is the goddess of fertility and order. When she isn't visiting and blessing the men of Coheed with children she is a giant who sits beside her husband in their sacred home in the afterlife. She is the most beautiful of ALL the gods and the mother of the eight major gods and goddesses.
The 8 Major Gods/Goddesses of Coheed:
Hosvir, God of The Stars, Son of Emiel and Erling: represents light and happiness. Hosvir is basked in a bright light that is dulled to a low dim glow when in the presence of mortals. Has three sons of minor god status. The first born who created the sun, moon, and stars in the sky.
Edon, God Of Judgement. The most calm of the major Gods and honorable, he has a large hut that sits outside their sacred home of the afterlife where he greets each and every warrior after their death judging the souls of where they would spend the next part of their lives until the Great Harvest. Because of this job Edon has no sons or wives, he never leaves his post for it is said when that day comes he will sit aside his tools for the Great Harvest. The second son and child of Emiel and Erling.
Dyteus, God Of Conquest. Dyteus was said to be the most verbal with the first Coheedians so much that to this day they strive to spread their culture and conquer all before them as it was their birth right. Dyteus is said to have brewed the potion of power that EVERY man drinks from. Dyteus and his sister Oguna have six of the minor children Gods, 3 of which are male and 3 female but their tragic stories are the reason women are treated so poorly in modern times. He was the first to mate with mortal women.
Oguna, Goddess Of Abundance and Pestilence. Oguna is the gentle one who provides all the lands nourishment such as the growth of crops, the rain that waters those crops, the seeds, and so on. She is a very jealous godess and when she learned Dyteus had laid with mortal women she punished them with disease and crop rot, these actions lead to the poor treatment of women among Coheed.
Midite, God Of Blacksmiths. Born blind Midite was a silent god but a mighty talented one who was most skilled in making weapons for his siblings. He blessed Coheed with his skills of blacksmithing and their physical/sense enhancements. Midite and two of the lesser known goddesses had a child a piece, but he is said to have produced the most mortal children.
Thuxbin and Kydea, God and Goddess Of Funerals. The twins modestly collect the souls of men who die on the battlefield or in combat and bring them to Edon for judgement. They have a lesser known son god. When they aren't collecting souls they protect their Father inside their sacred home.
Phoros, God Of Tricks and the Fallen God. The last child of Emiel and Erling, he is their problem child. Phoros once tried to usurp his Father from their sacred home and in the process wounded one of the twins, Erling banished Phoros to unknown lands but Phoros had escaped to the mortal world with his sons where they absorbed into the mortals world never to be seen again or so they say, he is blamed by the men of Coheed when random misfortunes befall them.
