Familiar [Norah Prowze ]
An unusual result of a summoning ceremony gone south, a dark spirit disguised as an animal came forth and, in curiosity, bound itself to the witch. Unlike other summoned creatures, this one does not return to its realm; it is fed blood to maintain its presence in this world. It not only provides physical protection to its witch, but it also adds to her stamina and gives her the ability to cast larger spells more quickly.
Minor Telekinesis [Logan Delaney ]
The result of a curse, its punishment: chaos. The victim is inflicted with a darkness of the mind and connected to the pushings and pulling of the soul in a different way, a physical way. This connection renders the cursed capable of manipulating matter, animate and inanimate, with the mind. This is limited to pushing and pulling objects and people, including forcefully stopping something in motion. Its reach is limited and the cursed's control is sporadic.
Seer [Kennet Delaney ]
Supernatural intuition. The ability to sniff out a lie and to connect dots others barely noticed. To See what is. The touch of an object might elicit a memory of all the scenes that have ever unfolded around it, all the secrets it might have heard. Standing near enough to someone might invite the same. On rare, intense occasions, a Seer might even witness the future--or, at least--catch glimpses of a possible future, the world as it has yet to unfold.
Traditional Werewolf Form [Cassian Rainecourt | Alys Roggar ]
Unlike the werewolves of Nevermere, this traditional one has control of when it changes into its wolf form, mostly maintaining its human mind, with some animal instincts mixed in. Witches may still force its change, this werewolf can change back at will, and is not beholden to the witch that changed it. It self-regenerates when in this form (minor wounds only), must turn on every full moon for the duration of the night, is excessively aggressive and prone to anger in human form, and may eventually "imprint".
Werewoman [Hugh Wyndham ]
At the hands of a spiteful, embittered young witch and her family, a curse was sent out into the world that rendered its victim a shapeshifter. Rather than shifting into a worm or a pile of feces, this particular curse shifts the man into the object of his desire: a woman. At the stroke of midnight each night, the cursed transforms from one sex to the other, and then back again at midnight of the next day. This transformation is thoroughly physical, as the mind within the individual maintains its male associations...for now.
