Keion had nodded and taken his loss with grace. While he was disappointed, he knew any Blackwood put up for vote for the position would fulfill it well. He would try to catch the gaze of Chloe when she took her place at the front of the room and give her a nod and a congratulatory smile to show that no hard feelings would remain.
He would not have time to relax, though, as Cyrus's next words had him on edge and listening intently to the crowd yet again. Although this time, he would not be able to discern anything through the multitude of voices overlapping each other. He had never considered Cyrus guilty of any harm towards any Blackwoods. The very idea of it was absurd to him, but he knew Cyrus would have to continue assuring the family time and time again, until solid proof could be presented to show otherwise.
At the next topic up for vote, Keion's eyebrows shot up. He had never considered such a bold move against the Llewellyn's. He rubbed his hand back and forth across his chin, staring at the floor and contemplating the possibilities. His eyes would flick up to look at both Cyrus and Pietro as they voiced their opinions, both in favor of not bringing harm against the Llewellyn's. He stared at the floor for a bit longer, still mulling everything over, then he would stand and wait for the room to quiet at least slightly before turning and casting his voice out through the amphitheater.
"I would be interested in hearing from Cyrus what opportunity to grow Arynn Frey the royal family presents us with. But, regardless of that fact, I agree harming every single Llewellyn for what could be the actions of only one or a few seems a bit much. I believe we should leave them in power for now, but I would like us to start seriously investigating them. Truth enchantments would be a good idea," he would pause and nod in Pietro's direction, "and if we were able to narrow down who of the royal family brought harm against our family, then I would be in favor of bringing the penalty of death against those royal family members."
