The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Change in how times flows. Was 4 IC seasons, now only 2 IC seasons per 1 OOC year.
5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Taz, now having regained her footing, would swing at the rooster with the weapon while Eirwen was indisposed. Rikki would chase around to the edge of the wall, trying to get at the group.

Eirwen collpased to the ground, the shock of Rikki's ongoing attack taking its toll. While Yule moved his ice in time to not have the attack intensified, there were still currents coming at him. He'd be struck right before taking off, his wings at once useless to his cause.
The ice wall served to momentarily hinder the electric connection, giving both the rooster and his woman a chance to breathe. With the temperature low and lowering, Taz and Rikki would find it hard to move. Their bodies would ache with the onset pain of frostbite. Their movements would be sluggish and jolted, but Tazmin's weapon would eventually swing at the rooster.
The cold hurt. Their inhibited movement did nothing to stem the flow of electricity from Rikki to Eirwen as he edged around the side of the wall. Tazmin would continue to move forward, swinging still at the rooster.
“Yield,” Taz yelled, “Or the kid will be toast in ten.” Because the fact of the matter was that she’d been zapping for quite sometime. Whether or not her blows to the rooster were effective was secondary to the fact that Eirwen would be in dire straights.
Taz grinned. Rikki let the electricity flow through Eirwen for a moment more before he relented. The temperature started to return to normal, giving Rikki enough freedom to spin a few excited circles before rushing back to Taz. She wasn’t looking at him though. Instead, Taz’s gaze directed to Hiram, eagerly looking for some sign of approval.
There was none.
With Hiram walking away, Taz wrinkled her nose, glaring in Eirwen’s direction. She’d decided to blame the girl for the lackluster encounter—one where neither of them had come out looking like competent warriors. It was a hollow victory, one that had won Taz no accolades from the one person whose opinion mattered.
With one last scathing look, Taz spit on the ground near Eirwen before stalking off, Rikki in tow.

Eirwen was slowly stirring after the last of the horrendous electric jolts pumped through her, she felt like her entire body was on fire as she pushed herself off the ground. Yet she was smiling, 'why are you smiling like that?' and Eirwen chuckled, "Because that bitch didn't get any approval either...she's just as much a piece of trash as the rest of us...I'm hungry. Let's go."
Collecting her garments Eirwen limped back to her hovel. Revenge on her mind.
