The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

This fall and winter was a period of low activity for the site, but even so, the Dresmond board has continued to simmer with excitement. This kingdom has moved from distant side dish to a dramatic main course in the world of Terra Nova. A big shout out to members Heather, Nix, and Darkest whose high activity has helped lead it through a renaissance into a new era!
Ellison had been distant for a few weeks from her family. Dealing with a few health problems of her own and recovering before she was fit enough to return back to her usual activities. One of which, was checking in on her siblings. Whether they actually knew she did it or not, would vary between each of them. Random stop ins and visits. Ever since the incident with Magda, she kept an eye on her family. Not because she thought they'd do something... but rather she looked for signs that someone would do something to them.
Call her paranoid, but it was just a part of her. A part of being a Morrigan, she'd joke if anyone pointed it out. Her family was everything, and she'd always do what she could to have their back, even if she wore the 'Delaney' name now.
It was during her visit to Rosa and her home... that she was informed she hadn't been home in a few days. It was strange, and she instantly went to her potions shack, finding nothing there. Which then prompted the half day trip up into the mountains where the Elder Morrigan witch was, seeing if Rosa had decided to go up there and was on a potions binge... except she hadn't been seen in a long while there.
By the next day, a messenger would be sent to each of her siblings, calling them to the Morrigan family home to meet. This wasn't like their little sister, not at all. She'd wait in the parlor, sitting at the plush chair near the fireplace and playing with a stout glass of amber liquid... though others might notice, it was full. Meaning she had either just poured herself another glass... or she hadn't started drinking at all.

Conall had noticed Ellison's detachment from the family for a few weeks. He'd reached out, been advised she was busy so he had not pushed the matter, just leaving it for her to know that he was checking on her. Like Ellison, he kept an eye on things as he had before Magda happened to the family and he would continue as long as he could.
Conall himself had been overly busy, with a pregnant wife, hawks hatching and his normal duties he was swamped and of course there were the deep dark things he discussed with those hidden in the shadows. Always gathering information and knowledge should the family need it. He'd been so busy he hadn't really even noticed that it had been a day or two since he'd heard from his princess Rosa, hell he honestly didn't even know what day it was.
When the messenger appeared he blinked and nodded at the request to meet at the family home. He headed there straight away, assuming something of importance was going on is Ellison was calling a meeting. He walked into their family home quietly, seeing Ellison in the parlor and smiling brightly, arms opening as he walked towards her, leaning down to hug her as she was sitting near the fireplace.
"Ellison, how are you sister? It has been too long of a few weeks." he smiled, moving to grab a glass and pour himself some of the amber drink before moving to have a seat across from her, awaiting their younger brother and sister. "I assume we're waiting on Liono and Rosamere and father?"

Lio had been at home when the messenger came to call and he headed to the family home immediately. With Quenya being pretty far along in her pregnancy, only a few months remaining Liono had been far busier than usual and hadn’t been able to keep in as close of contact as he would prefer with everyone so when the messenger advised Ellison needed him to meet with her immediately he felt bad and was instantly worried something was wrong.
Quenya stayed behind to relax and do the chores that were required later in the day and after handling a few of the harder chores that he’d prefer Quen not do currently he headed out on the back of one of his preferred horses, making little time of the distance between the two homes. He slid off his horse and handed the reins to a stable hand as he headed into the manor. He was going to head to Conall’s office, assuming they’d meet there, but as he walked through the parlor he noticed Ellison and Conall there so he stopped.
”What’s going on, what have I missed?” he asked quickly as he looked at the glasses both were holding. He did not see Ellison drink often, Conall on the other hand he did not see without a drink so there was nothing alarming there. He remind standing, crossing his arms over his chest to wait and find out what the meeting was for.

Keelan had just left his ship, a strange encounter with Katerina Winters about the death of her sister. It hadn't sat with him right after her departure so he had set off toward his cousins home hoping to speak with Conall Morrigan about it, but a servant had said he was called to Stormview by Ellison so set off home. Upon entering he avoided the staff as he made for where he assumed Ellison would call for Conall he wasn't surprised to see Ellison and Conall but he nodded curiously at Liono Morrigan.
"Ellison, Liono. I hope I haven't interupted anything just need a second with Conall," Keelan shoved his hands in his pockets as he leaned against the door frame.
The moment that Conall entered, she let out a soft sigh. Standing to meet him as he embraced her. "Thank you for coming. I am sorry to pull you away, I just-" She stopped as Lio entered. Her legs crossed the space between them. Embracing her little brother as she looked between the two brothers. "We are here because of Rosa..." She started. Her hands twisting the glass between her fingers as she started to pace. Right in front of the far window and her free hand ran through her dark hair.
"Something-" except her voice died as Keelan entered the room. That was someone she had not called upon. She froze in her spot and her eyes glanced behind him as if expected to see the soldier he had arrived at the party with trailing behind him. "Keelan." Ellison might have not been the eldest Morrigan but she certainly acted as if no one was above her. "Rather late isn't it?" She said before she glanced at Conall, had he known their cousin was coming too?

Conall nodded softly at Ellison’s thanks for coming, settling into his seat and taking a drink of the liquid amber he’d poured himself. When Liono appeared he nodded to his little brother quietly, watching as Liono and Ellison hugged before parting. Then Ellison said they were here because of Rosamere and his entire body tensed as he tilted his head slightly, his brows dropping slightly as his eyes narrowed. Ellison’s body language screamed that there was a problem and Conall was on his feet quickly, about to walk to Ellison to make her look at him and tell him what was going on. The word something escaped her mouth but then, surprisingly Keelan walked in. A brow quirked as Conall turned his silvery eyes towards him before looking back to Ellison.
”Hold on Keelan… I will be with you in a moment” Conall said, raising his hand and pointer finger for a moment as he looked to Ellison. ”Something what? Something what, about Rosemere?” he said quickly, the tone of his voice alone would hopefully let Keelan know he was not meaning to dismiss his request to see him, but something told him that there was something far more pressing about going on. Something was going on with Rosamere and that was his main priority at this moment.

Lio hugged Ellison close as she started explaining, saying they were there due to Rosa as she pulled away and began pacing while twisting the glass she held in her hands tightly, strangling it which made Lio concerned she was going to shatter the glass in her hands. He moved to reach for it, but stopped short when Keelan walked in, stopping in his tracks at the interruption. Liono nodded to Keelan who was here for Conall, but Conall was fully distracted by Ellison’s statement as was Lio. He totally forgot he was going to take the glass from his sister before she destroyed it in her hands, now also fully distracted by Ellison’s statement.
They were here to discuss Rosamere, what about Rosamere he too wanted to know. Ellison’s pacing spoke volumes, she was distressed about something and that did not bode well as far as he was concerned. Conall told Keelan to hold on so that Ellison could finish what she’d started to say about Rosamere and Liono turned his attention towards her once more.

Keelan stood as still as a stone his face never changing as his blue eyes scanned over the faces of his family, it lingered the longest on Ellison, her only reply to being out late was a Keelan grunt, even when Conall had put Keelan's business with him on the hold, even when it was confirmed that he was there for perhaps the same reason his eyes didn't leave hers. His body may have flinched in reaction but he didn't blink, instead of anything they filled perhaps with gloom.
"Seems Rosamere is missing," Keelan replied to Conall, "Had myself an interesting conversation with a Van Zant something, woman...came asking about the murder or death of her sister, Mina, which eluded to her telling me that Rosa hasn't been at her potions place for days."
He was looking now between the three of them, Keelan didn't have to answer to Ellison. He could be out as late as any other of Nevermere, of the Morrigan family. Unfortunately goading him like Adder often did wasn't going to stick in his crawl this time.
While Keelan didn't have to answer her, it didn't mean that Ellison was without rank here. Not the oldest in the room, but the one with the most pull. Her chin ticked upwards when no response was given to her, at least not one she had wanted. And yet she could see her two brothers confusion from the corner of her eyes. The way they stared at her, yet it seemed... "Why would Katerina come to you?" Ellison knew of Rosa's friends. And considering he just dropped that Mina was the one gone from the world... it left one sister left.
She shook her head, before looking to the two. "Rosa hasn't been seen in days. Not at home with her husband, not in the mountains with the Elder Witch... not by friends it seems either. I checked her potions home, and it hadn't been used in a while." She turned to pick up the glass of liquid and downed it in one swallow. She'd surely need it.
"I want us to look for her. I can do a lot, but I need assistance. I have upcoming assignments and until we can figure out where she is... I need more information before I go to the King." They all knew that the Morrigan's didn't go to the royals for much. But a missing sibling, depending on what research would uncover? They might need their help. "I can use your wives..." She looked between her brothers as Keelan certainly didn't have one. And Ellison would not be asking for Keelan's recent pet.

Conall looked between Keelan and Ellison, not truly interested in whatever the power or dominance situation was that was going on between them at the time, more interested in what they were here for in the first place. Gray-blue eyes twisted to Keelan as he so blatantly stated Rosamere was missing, his stomach lurching slightly and suddenly finding itself somewhere around his toes. He was about to ask for clarification when Keelan continued. Conall’s eyes quickly flicked to Ellison for answers if she had any, his brow furrowed as the warm sting of anger began to fill his senses, his heartbeat quickening in his chest. When she asked Keelan a question his eyes turned back to their cousin seeking the answer as he brought the drink up to his mouth and took a deep drink more out of habit than out of wanting it.
His eyes lashed back towards Ellison as she spoke again, anger growing more substantially when Ellison mentioned she hadn’t been home with her husband… Why the fuck hadn’t he said anything sooner? He’d put a sword through the idiot. ”If she has been gone for days, how are we going to get a track of her. I have my hawks but I do not know if they will do anything. Do we know anyone with hounds?” he said sharply though he raised a brow as she mentioned his and Liono’s wives, both whom were with child. He frowned faintly at the idea of making his wife help, she’d already lost one child he wasn’t inclined to have it happen again. But if Ellison thought it necessary he would not question it and simply nodded in response and tossed back the rest of the drink in his hand.

when he heard Keelan say its seems Rosa was missing he spun his head and looked at him, listening to the rest of what he had to say, at first he didnt know what to think then he turned and looked back at Conall and everything that happened in past between him and that whore came to mind, had Conall done the unthinkable and started meeting her in private again, was she responable for Rosa gojng missing was it pay back for what happened, was Rosa going to be the second person in the family she would kill to get revenge, he looked at Conall the whole time he spoke to Ellison wondering, "no" he thought to himself he wouldnt be that stupid, not now he was married with a child on the way, well thats what he wanted to believe anyway, plus Lio had been spending a lot of time with him alot more than ever before so his time would be short if he was.
his eyes turned to Ellison when she said she needed help, and could use his and Conalls other halfs to help, if it had of been anything else he would have said no to letting Quen help just cause she was with child and he didnt want her getting stressed, but this was something he knew they would need all the help they could get just to find her, after Ellison and Conall stopped talking there was a silence in the room that seemed to last for ages,
"look lets not worry untill we have to, its Rosa if she knew if something bad was going to happen or if she was being threated, she would have said something, il go and tell Quen what is going on and get her to come see you, just dont make her do to much, il ride out and start having a look at places i know she goes to and start asking around to see if anyone has seen her"
he knew is wasnt like Rosa to just go off without saying anything but with Conall getting load when he spoke and the look on Ellison face he knew they were worried as much as he was, Ellison wouldnt have called the meeting if she wasnt worried,

Keelan looked between Conall and Liono, "I'll help either of you out in the search for Rosa," he looked at Ellison then, "If you'll allow it, she's family, she has children. I want to know she's safe too."
He may have been distant with some, his tag a long to the garden party was partly a stain he would carry but Keelan was moving past that. He was a Morrigan at the end of the day and he was here to help.
Her eyes bounced between each of the men in the room, listening to them, watching the worry stir in the air. "I will do everything I can to ensure that Quen is not overworked. I swear it," She held Liono Morrigan's gaze, and he'd find the sincerity there. While Ellison could be ruthless and push hard, she would never jeopardize her brother's heart. Then she moved to Conall Morrigan, "Lord and Lady Saramth have good dogs, please see to it that we get some as soon as possible. Bring them to Rosa's workshop and then let them search."
Keelan Morrigan was the last she addressed, cautious but not willing to turn down help. "Go with Conall and Liono, split up if you can but have a plan to meet every few hours. I am going to send out a summoning..." She let out a long breath. "If we can't find her or any trace of her... or if we find something suggesting foul play... we go to the Captain Commander. Is that understood?"

Conall’s steely eyes locked onto Liono’s as his younger brother looked at him and Conall knew exactly what the younger Morrigan was thinking and while his instinct was to say something snide, his brother had every right to look at him as he was doing now. Conall had messed things up and whether his reasoning had been good it failed and ended up making things worse. Conall had no clue that Liono thought he possibly actually was seeing the whore again which was insane to even consider but a reasonable thought as if he had the time. Conall did not waver in his locked gaze with Liono, once Liono tore his away Conall followed and looked back to Ellison and listened to Liono.
Conall’s eyes turned to Keelan and he nodded. ”Thank you Keelan.” he said lightly before he looked back to his sister again as she addressed them each. He nodded at her order to go to Lord Saramth and get some dogs to take to Rosa’s shop to begin the search and waited for her to finish speaking with Keelan before he moved to him. ”I will go get Neri and have her come to you Ellison then go to Saramth to get the dogs. Keelan and Liono can meet up and search after Liono lets Quenya know what is happening and hopefully she comes here to help. Does that work for everyone?” he asked as he headed to the door, though he stopped before leaving to be sure that it did work for everyone.
Once everything was agreed upon he headed out of the door, heading to his private quarters to seek out his wife and request she see Ellison, letting her know what was going on and impressing upon her the importance of finding Rosa but also not to risk herself and his child in doing so.
