Thom bit back a little snort of laughter, because it was rather apparent that she couldn't really think of anything to want either. Except a goat, which... well, he rather doubted they even had the space for that, come to think about it. They couldn't keep it anywhere near the garden, of course, not if they wanted much of a garden to come back to, and that didn't really leave much space for it at all. "Cute, but even a goat needs some space to graze and roam, don't they?" he asked, fingers running slowly up and down her spine through the towel. "I think space is something we might need to think about for a few reasons. Goats need space, cows need space, children definitely need space if we don't want them bouncing off the walls. Safe space, but space nevertheless."
For all that it wasn't the most pleasant thing to think or even talk about, his lips let out an involuntary rumble as her fingers softly traced over his chest, his head giving a little shake. "I appreciate it, Temperance, but there's really no salted wounds involved, at least not because it's you asking the questions." Part of him wanted to pull her up for another kiss, but there was just something immensely comforting about feeling her weight resting against his chest, his one hand still resting hear her head, the other just slowly stroking along her back. Her approval was really the only one that mattered, anyway. It wasn't as though he would ever need much else, so long as he had her. "Is this the moment where I reply, 'yes, I know, I deserved you' and we get sappy all over again?" he chuckled, though his eyes were serious.
Already, she'd made the clear point that he was hers, and she was his, so being deserving or not had very little to do with it, outside of external viewpoints. "No day I spend with you could ever feel spoiled, anyway, or even wasted, even if we spent the entire day in bed doing nothing but just staring at each other wordlessly, because your eyes really do say ever so much when I see you looking at me." Even now, when he couldn't see them with his chin still tucked happily against her head, it felt like they were using a bit more than their words to communicate with. And maybe they were, but there was nothing wrong with that. Everything they had done was just... a beginning, laying down a framework for them both to continue with.
"We should definitely make a little more time now and then." he agreed, smiling at the laugh, gently brushing some of her hair back. "At least once every other week or so, if not more often than that. Maybe a little more wine, maybe a little less sweets. Perhaps Melody might have some better ideas for food, if we're going to go out and get tipsy in the woods together. But before you fall asleep on top of me, which we both have to admit is a very real probability, please do remember that you promised to wrap my ribs up again, love." For all that he knew it was true, he wasn't about to make any moves to disturb her while she was still laying there, and he was getting pretty dangerously close to slipping off himself, with the warmth, the fire, the rain. "After all, it it wasn't for them, I'd be carrying you to bed right now, for all that I want this day to linger on forever."
