The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Faylin nodded her head, agreeing with everything Kasper said, though she wouldn't admit that Kasper was the only person she would call a friend. She still didn't know if she could call his sister a friend, perhaps just an amiably acquaintance. They had started working towards a better friendship, but then everything with Mina had happened and then they'd been whisked away from Nevermere on this mission.
Then she realized what he had said last, and she wasn't sure whether it was the word 'snog' or Kasper being the responsible one. Certainly it was mostly to do with the adrenaline still rushing through her, but she blinked a few times before a snort-laugh escaped from her mouth. She clapped a hand over her mouth, her eyes widening slightly while her shoulders still shook with giggles.
After a moment she gained control of herself, shaking her head as she removed her hand to reveal the toothy grin on her face. "You, Kasper, are the one telling me what we can and cannot do while on duty? And snogging? Really?" She chuckled a few more times before wiping a hand down her face, then had the sudden realization that they were probably not alone here.
One glance confirmed her suspicions as she looked straight into the gawking gaze of one of the soldiers that had been pretending to train when they first arrived. At the sudden eye contact, the entire group of them grabbed all their gear and scurried away as fast as they could. Faylin sighed, "Well, that gossip will make its way back to Nevermere before we do."
Kasper is young enough to fall under the werewolf curse, yet it is dormant. Should the curse be activated his wolf form will be that of a white shaggy fur color keeping his smallness even though he is still rather large for a werewolf. His eyes also retain their green color.

Kasper was rolling himself after the surprising snort of laughter and the look on Faylin's face that she had laughed like that, it was refreshing for the Van Zant to hear. For the most part it meant he could get her to laugh, he had helped someone unknowingly to a degree when they needed it. Kasp to this day is still proud of that first concussion.
However his response to her questioning about the whole snogging comment and the do and don't had him nonchalantly shrugging with a equally raccoon esque smirk before his eyes turned with hers to the fleeing forms, he chuckled shaking his head, "Yup, I'm sure their already sending letters home to loved ones, by morning front page gossip: Van Zant Valana kissing scandal...was it good?" Kasper rambled on with his day dream, oddly in his head he saw it vividly only everyone was oddly over expressed caricatures and rabbits, "Kasper said, the best."
She was still smiling as the soldiers disappeared from view. Turning to Kasper, she shook her head in amusement before taking a deep breath to bring herself back to reality. "Come on, its getting late and we still have duties to attend to here." Gathering up all of her belongings, she'd wait until Kasper was ready before heading back to their temporary home. A home she shared with a man who was now more than just her pairing partner.
