[Open for male citizens]
The day had finally arrived. Elliot had received message from the workers a few days ago that the carpets were ready and that all the furniture had been moved into the building. Beautiful red-brown leather armchairs on red carpets, chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and big painting on the wall to show his love for art. Some greenery livened up the place. The polished wooden floors that you could see near the walls where the carpet was cut shorter were cleaned and shined brightly. The kitchen was fully installed, the tap on the bar was ready to be used and the piano in the big room was begging to be used. Mordha was finally ready to meet its customers.
When he had bought the place, the baronet hadn't dared to dream hoe beautiful the place would turn out to be. It had been a raggedy brothel that was costing the owner more than the profits he could make of it. Elliot's initial idea had been to continue down the brothel route, he had even told some people about it, like Ikisina and Kiana, but eventually he settled for a far greater idea: a gentleman's club. As a man, he knew what men wanted. They wanted a place to wind down, to enjoy some drinks and cigars, to be as vulgar and loud as they want to be without the interference of women. He knew most of his customers would be nobel men, but his club was so open to commoners, although they'd get the occasional state and huff.
Earlier that day he had left his estate just outside of Loren to take a look at the final result. With awe he had walked around the rooms. There was a big room to sit down and have a conversation in, another room for some games likes darts or playing cards and upstairs there were a few rooms for more private conversations, although there would always he a bouncer around to make sure nothing sexual was happening up there - especially since ladies weren't allowed inside Mordha. The staff was preparing for the big opening and he greeted each and every one of them before making his way to his office, which was also located upstairs but had a strong lock on it. There he went over some paperwork and brought his affairs in order.
For now, the cellar would remain a secret. Technically it would always remain a secret. Organising a fight club wasn't exactly legal and he was planning on telling as little people as possible about what happened down there. He'd start with rooster and dog fights but eventually he wanted to let people fight as well. Booze, money and boxing could earn him quite some cash if he played his cards right. The people who could come to see those fights were mainly nobles although he was aware that he'd have to let some commoners in over time, especially of he chose to let commoners fight each other.
The door to the cellar was located behind the kitchen and the kitchen wasn't accessible to the public. For those who could read, there was a 'staff only' sign on the door. Elliot wasn't worried that people would find the door, and if they did, it would be locked anyway. The bouncer was never far either and he'd keep people away from the door.
Elliot, dressed in one of his best suits, opened the front doors and put his hands on his hips, smiling widely. "Mordha is officially open for business", he spoke to no one in particular. Now the real fun could begin.
