The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
"I had no idea, but it's a beautiful name," Temperance said, reaching out to rub Valeria's arm as she got a little emotional. "I'm sorry that you lost her, but honoring her by naming your daughter after her would be lovely. I'm sure that if she were here, she'd be so proud of you and excited to hear about her future grandchild." Temperance was fortunate in many ways, one being that she had not lost any of her family. Her parents were both alive and well, and so were her siblings. She couldn't imagine losing her mother, so it must have been hard for Val. "Ohh, where were you traveling through when you heard it?"
Temperance nodded, still smiling. "Of course, a mother always loves and worries for her children," Temperance said, even though there was part of her that knew how untrue that statement could sometimes be. Thomas had unfortunately been on the receiving end of an uncaring mother, but Valeria would certainly never become like that. She had everything going for her. "Well, whatever your child ends up doing, I'm sure they'll be very successful. It seems like everyone in your family has served Nevermere so well, I don't see why you would stop with the little one. Even if it is a little scary, you know that between the Usher's, the Delaney's, and the Rainecourt's, you'll all be well taken care of."

She rub her cheeks as she could feel tears run down them. "I want to ask a million questions in regard to pregnacy and being a mum, but I can't I wish, there a part of me that wish she can be here and hold me in her arms telling me everything going to be okay, that I will be a great mum, that she will be able to hold her grandchild in her arm, but she can't." Because of me, because she birth me. there was a hint of blaming herself in her eyes that she was the reason she was dead, but she didn't say it with words.
"I heard it in a distance land across the water, i can't remeber which one as i traveled to many over the years, but that one name stuck in my head for years since." She explained as she takes a deep breath. "I know this child will be soo loved. Temp I will come round soon, plus you, you mr, Artos are always welcome round that why you can meet the flock of dogs me and my husband has... but at the moment I need to head out have a dress fitting for measurement to get dresses for my growing belly." she give a laugh as she made sure all her tears are dry.
Temperance reached up gently, wiping away at the tears that streamed down Valeria's face. The poor girl, Temperance really couldn't imagine how hard it must be for her. "No matter what, your mother will always be with you in spirit. She would want you to be happy and excited, and to know that she loves you and already loves your child as well. When your baby is finally born, I know she'll be there with you. Maybe I'm a little too spiritual, but I think those that pass never really leave us."
As she stood up, Temperance took her arm to walk her out of the greenhouse. "You're more than welcome to visit any time at all, whether it's to see me or Artos," she said with a smile. "And you'll keep me updated, yes? I know you've only just found out you're pregnant, but until you find someone else to aid in the birth, I'd like to know about any and everything!" She smiled. "And yes, I'm happy to come to you if that makes it easier. I'd love to meet your husband and your dogs." She smiled.
