The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Tor nodded down at Zarha agreeing partially and whispered back to her,
"Yes she needs to go somwhere safe, but she says that the guy group up with her, so he'd already know her friends wouldn't he?" He paused to make his point and then continued, "And they attacked in broad daylight which makes me very suspicious. Malicious attacks in daylight would be either be a fit of strong sudden emotions, or a showy display with no real intent behind it. I think there's something going on here that we're either missing, or the Lady might be holding back something from us."
The soldier couldn't be totally sure of his theory, but it made some sense if a Lady was protecting her reputation...

Tors have a far point, she looked at the woman, she seems to be beside herself with worry. "I agree but she not a high noble there nothing much sadly the military can do. However, we need to be careful if it she holding information, she just been attacked. Sometimes, when people are scared their minds blank things out." it was a private conversation between them.
"Lady De Leon, we both agree that this guy might try and attack again. We will recommend that it best if you hire some private security. Me and Mr Mosse will fill a report out for you. However, we really need honesty if we going to help you. Has anything happened between you two, or the family or his?"
The lady looked between Tors and Zarha for a moment her daughter in hand. Dormin walking in the room, her eyes locked on his for a moment. "ten years ago, my brother and his sister was paired. They was a strong pair they work well together. However, they grew closer, however one night there was a attack on them and my brother couldn't be there to help protect her. It was later found out that he raped and killed his sister. Leaving the corpse of the family dog in the hallway as a sign that it was his doing. Killing the dog in his eyes showing the world who the true Alpha is. We tried to prove it was him. However, we got no prove." She explained
Torsten nodded in agreement with what Zarha said but he was totally shocked at the Lady's sudden confession! It took a bit of self control not to step back and drop his jaw in outward shock at the flood of ugly events all wrapped up in one brief exclamation. He paused for a long moment afterward, shuffled the notes in his hands and replied in a calm, firm tone.
"Then Miss Sliva and I will file this incident as an instance of proof in your name. Be sure to hire those guards with haste and we will get the proper forms report filled out for you Lady Malina."
He looked over at Zarha to see if there was anything else she wanted to add. These kinds of incidents never sat well with him, not liking the savage nature of it at all.

Malina takes a sigh of relive as she nodded. "Thank you." She looked between them both. "To you both. I will send a request in right away for some guards." She seemed thankful kind of sad that there was nothing more in the moment that can be done. Zarha wish with this admission that there was more that she can do to help the woman. However, she know there wasn't a lot her and Tors could do at the moment.
"Lady Malina, if you do get any ore these threats, report them right away. Don't hold back from what might happen. We can't do our job, if we don't know what happening, okay?" At the end of the day she want to do her job, she want to make sure that the people of Nevermere safe, and proteccted, and she can't do it if they scared to step forward.
Malina nodded. "I will do.[/i}

Torsten nodded politely to the Lady and her nephew and exited the house with Zarha. When they were about a block away, he looked down at her and said,
'You really handled yourself well back there. I think the assault cases are hardest to deal with. Managing to keep a balance of professional but reassuring presence is hard to do. At least for me it is."
He adjusted his long stride to match hers and they walked the streets of Skia looking like a solid couple of reliable soldiers. Their uniforms were neat, not a hair out of place and they walked confidently in step together. Zarha was a good balance to have at his side when they were out on the street and he was grateful for it. Tor knew that any random two soldiers could be stuck together for assignments and some just went horribly wrong on a personal note. He was very glad that this wasn't the case at all.

Zarha nodded her head to both Lady Malina and her nephew as they left to fill in their report, wishing there was more she could do. However, until there more prove, or something more to bring this man in. There just need to be handle, plus if he can do this then he somebody you need to be careful with. Zarha looked up at Tors as he complimented how she handled herself in there, that hardly happens.
"You did great in there to. You have great work ethic, which I really appreciate in a fellow soldier. Shows, that they are dedicated to their work!" It was simple but true statement it shows tht they are loyal to their work and that they are hard-working.
As they walked Zarha looked around. "Um Torsten, I am wondering... If you want, maybe we can go out for a drink or somewhere um to eat? Like on a ... date?" Zarha rubbed the back of her neck feeling a bit shy, like he could say no for all she knows.
Torsten hadn't done anything exceptional back there and he knew he was still very much a novice at the policing and investigations part of work. He looked doubtful at her praise and deflected it swiftly,
"Both Lieutenant Woodwick and Ber are much more adept and accomplished at investigation than I am."
Ber and Woodwick were far more experienced at it and word of their adroit skills had made the rounds of the barracks. When he looked down at Zarha, she was looking up at him with that expression again. And it had him immediately thinking only of how pretty she was. Her sudden question had him raising both eyebrows in startled surprise.
"A date?" he echoed stupidly, taking more than a few minutes for the meaning to sink in. He considered himself to be a man of average intelligence but the moment her pretty face smiled up at him, all the brain cells seemed to disappear. His daily people skills weren't great but Torsten had zero flirting skills.
"I...umm... yes...?" he managed to get out, clearly floundering badly. A date? With Zarha? The woman had some serious skills in the training yard and as a witch, she could probably bench press anyone, and the woman beside him was pretty enough to have any guy or girl she wanted to. And she'd asked him?! Tor was astonished that she even thought of him that way.

Zarha smiled at his statement. They were both good at their skills, "They are both good soldiers cannot doubt that. However, neither Lieutenant Woodwick or Ber are here. You are Tors and I am at least grateful I had you by my side, helping me with this case." Woodwick pushes soldiers to be more then what they currently are, Ber well he is stuck in his way a bit, but none of the doubt still a good soldier.
When he repeated the words Date. Like it was a question she looked down expecting him to say no. Why would a guy like Tors want to go out with a girl like her, he seems the sort of guy who could have anybody his heart choses. Who wouldn't want to go out with him? He is strong, handsome, dedicated to his work, hard-working. The sort of man that seem to want to stand by you.
When he said yes, she couldn't help but smile, blushing slightly at his floundering over his words, did she do that?. "I am..um.. looking forward to the date." She let out of soft laugh. "how about in two days time at midday? if you are free?" She looked up at him, hopeful.
His dark eyes were glued on her pretty little face and her blush made her look even cuter. Her dimples peeked out, which was absolutely adorable.
Her compliments had Tor's ears turn red in embarrassment and for a long moment, he couldn't quite speak. He opened his mouth, cleared his throat twice nervously, and finally managed to answer her.
"There's .. uh.. I have patrol in the morning but yes, then I'd be clear for lunch in two days. Did you.. umm.. did you have a certain place in mind?" Tor ducked his head shyly, and just stood there looking awkward.

The way he was looking down shyly made him even more attractive. How could one man be so attractive and never had anybody ask them out before? It truly was a amazement beyond her belief. The way his ears turn red from her compliment making her heart race.
She was trying to find the words trying to think of places that they could go to on their date.. "I saw this place called The Violet Cloud. I heard lovely things about the place, that it's a beautiful place to go for a... date." She couldn't stop looking at him her eyes keeps drifting towards his as he looks around.
"That sounds.. fancy. I think. Is it?" he answered, fully aware that she kept emphasizing the word date. Feeling awkward, he clasped his hands behind his back for something to do with them. Tor waited for her reply while he looked down at Zarha's little upturned face and gleaming brown eyes.
"Yeah, that's a date then."

She looked down. "It sort of fancy, not too fancy." It was a sweet place that the both of them can go too and hopefully have a lovely time out together. "I will be looking forward to it." She was excited for her first ever date. She never thought in her life that she would go on a date with anyone. Let alone somebody as handsome of Tors. They walked back to the castle, having a slight blush on her face from him say yes, however when she went in to do the report, she took time to compose herself and get serious, remembering that she was working. She has to stay dedicated, work hard to her job.
