The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
"We had a great supper tonight didn't we?" He said, looking down at Zarha. When they got to just outside her home, he saw her looking embarrassed.
"Hey now, where you live is not who you are. It's just a place, right?" He tried to reassure her. He shrugged as he took in the worn down surrounding and dirty windows. "You are the kindest, sweetest person Zarha. You don't think badly of anyone do you? That's you. Where you live isn't you."

Smiling at him softly "I had a lovely time, did you?" Zarha hoped that Tor had a lovely time like she know she has a habit of being a try hard, she a determined, hard-working young lady and sometimes it get in the way of actually have fun. This is the first time she had fun outside of work. first time, she laughed and smiled in a long time.
Looking at the door she smiled at him and took a short breath. "I know, you are the most kindest person I've ever mat."
"That was the best meal I ever ate!" he answered, patting his stomach.
Zarha's words caught him off guard, but she seemed sincere. Tor's face turned red at the compliment and he insisted,
"Then you need to look in a mirror because you are defintely the nicest, kindest person in Nevermere Miss Zarha. Besides, I think I'm more of a worrier than a warrior."
He tried to make a joke, but as usual, his people skills were terrible.

Laughing softly at his comment they both ate well. looking at him softly seeing the blushing appeared on his face. Placing a hand on his cheek and ran a thumb softly across his cheek smiling. placing her other hand where his heart is "Look at me Tor, it just means you care, nothing wrong with that, sometimes we need more man who worry."
Pausing for a bit looking into his eyes. "If anything worring you too much, talk okay, my ears always open."
Tor couldn't help but smile at Zarha as she stretched upward to the limit to reach his face with her little hands. She was so pretty and the kindest person he'd ever met. How could a guy like him, be so lucky to find someone like her?! Most of the soldier women he'd met were either brusque, hard as stone or pure terror. And yet here was this witch, this soldier, who was every inch as fit as he, and Zarha was so incredibly compassionate.
"I think you're too good to be true Zarha. How could I be so lucky to know a girl like you?"
(OOC factors and grandfathered posts, deleted posts and bunnying/godmodding made this a mess)
Tor decided that this wasn't a good idea to pursue things any further and he needed to put a firm stop to it. His home life was a mess and the future was on the brink of war, so it was no time for pursuing romance. He took two steps back.
"I'm sorry Zarha, but this isn't working out. I don't think we should pursue this any further. It's not a good time to play at romance when a war is looming. Good night."
Tor headed back to the barracks.
