The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

She shrugged, smirking. “You must talk to all the wrong people then.” Regan paused as she packed up, her smile fading.
“I’m going to have to postpone our training sessions for a couple of weeks. I’ve got some obligations that…you know, it’s busy.” She couldn’t say the real reason. The real reason was that the full moon was almost upon them, and there were some risks she just couldn’t take.

There was a soft laugh. "I highly doubt that. You got me to smile and as somebody who dedicated to her work I am sure you appreciate that a hard task." It was true, however when she said that they have to postpone her train her smile fade.
"Oh. Yeah I understand. Work is important and with everything coming up..." She wanted to carry on training but she admire Regan and her passion to put work first. "I shouldn't be greedy and want to train with the king's huntsman. But if you ever want or need five minutes just for a spar you know where to find me." She give the huntsman a small smile. She started helping packing away after all it is part of her job.

Regan smiled back, nodding at her. “I’ll let you know,” Regan replied, knowing perfectly well she wouldn’t. It wasn’t a matter of time, it was a matter of her not tearing Zarha in two. She had just slung her pack over her shoulder when Zarha asked her question. Regan pinched her brow together.

Zarha thought for a moment of how to ask the question but she know it was a risky question. "I've seen you punch and you are breathtaking, I know there still a lot for me to learn to prove myself that I will do anything for King and country. Any advice? I want to prove my worth." There was a look of determination in her eyes. if anything she was determined.

Advice? Regan did feel she’d given the girl plenty of advice. There was something to be said for hunger, but Regan wasn’t entirely sure what the girl was expecting. Was it a simple attempt at flattery? Regan wasn’t one used to being flattered, so she wouldn’t really be able to recognize it. She raised an eyebrow at the girl for a moment, then sighed.
“There’s no magic key that will unlock potential. It’s just hard work. My best advice?” Regan shrugged, “Keep your head down. Listen as much as you can, talk as little as is necessary.”

Hard work. well she hard working that going without questions. She bows her head in respect, "Thank you huntsman." There was a soft smile. There was a lot to take to think about like how can one hung their head low yet still seen? How can one talk as little as possible yet be hard? Like if she was going to have a leadership roll like Warren see her in one day she possible need to be able to control a room.

Regan nodded once. “Keep it up, see you at this parade or whatever.” She smirked before shouldering her pack and heading out of the courtyard. Once she got to her room, she dropped down on her bed, staring up at the ceiling, feeling the gravity of the full moon growing ever stronger.
