The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

Castiel just let him sulk and rock on his heels. It was pretty pathetic, but he didn't say so.
"I gave her the benefit of the doubt in the end. She promised never to see that man again. No matter the reason, she did anyway and I saw it with my own eyes. She is the one who chose this path. Not me. You cannot fault me for her decisions."
He crossed his arms. "Did she tell you that I gave up my job for her? To become her bodyguard? I was Simon Haas' right hand man and I left it behind to do that. She basically slapped me and my work in the face. Just like our relationship. Now, stop sniveling. No person is without their faults. Not even her."
”They both work at the palace, did you expect her to ask him to be sacked?” It was a weak excuse but Astor was grasping at straws. Anything that would make sense as to why his cousin would twist the truth. Especially since he had said he was going to confront Castiel. Yet she had basically encouraged it. It was confusing and Astor was now doubting a lot of things in his life.
And he didn’t really care if he looked ridiculous while doing it.
But Astor flinched as Castiel asked him to stop sniveling. ”Some people have emotions, maybe that’s hard for you to understand.” He looked up from the ground, anguish on his face. This wasn’t easy for him to take in. Anna was a good person, who had let her heart and past lead her wrong. She didn’t deserve this.
