The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

This kingdom has moved from distant side dish to a dramatic main course in the world of Terra Nova. A big shout out to members Heather, Nix, and Darkest whose high activity has helped lead it through a renaissance into a new era!
A slow smirk lifted his features as she challenged him and he couldn't stop the huff of a chuckle from rumbling his chest. He was already down on the ground gathering a second as she did so as well and as he stood up she tossed hers towards him. He was a far bigger target, that would certainly give her hand advantage, he tried to move out of the way of the ball but it burst against his shoulder.
He laughed, his eyes alight with life, and tossed the second ball at her, immediately crouching to start on a third before he even saw if he hit his target or not.

There was a childish light that lit up in her eyes. A game was afoot and she was not to miss It. Not with this first snow. Not with the laughter and light in Logan's eyes. The light that she hadn't seen in so long. She would not be the one who robbed it from him, not yet. So when the next snowball came flying towards her, she swatted at it in the air. Her body moving to reach for the bit of snow that she could to attempt to gather more. She was engage in this game. She could do it for hours. But another wicked idea came to her.
She tossed the snowball at him, it was slower than the first and could have been easily dodged if he was paying attention. Instead, she'd whisper an incantation, a blast of wind like destruction hitting the ground between them, causing the snow to burst into the air, hitting them both. "I could easily win this, Captain Commander. Yield." She grinned as snow blurred the vision in front of her.
Logan did dodge her second toss, it wasn't a challenging one and Logan might have teased her for it except that she wasn't yet done. He shielded his face with his arms from the snow-plosion. Right, she was a witch. She could always win a fight between them if she really wanted to.
He grinned, shaking his head and lifted a finger, pointing it aggressively in her direction. "That, Freckles, is cheating," he chided her. "And I will not stand for it." His words lost their meaning though as he was still grinning. He opened his fingers and then made a beckoning motion. "Let's see what you've got then."

There was a proud smile on her face. Especially when she saw the grin on his face. Whether he was upset by her move or not. But this was all for fun. This was a great little distraction. And she was taking every moment of this. The point in her direction made her lift one brow, challenging him. Her nickname made her grin grow wider. Freckles. She could practically jump him here.
She lit up as his fingers beckoned her. Was he really inviting this? She bit her lip for a moment, then slowly bit the tip of her middle finger that was gloved and slowly pulled it off her hand. "Are you sure you can handle this?" She cooed, a tease. She damn well knew he could handle her. In so many ways. "Are you sure you can handle me? With witchcraft?" She said slowly, almost purring out the words as she worked on pulling the other glove off as well.
Okay, that was incredibly distracting. Why did she have to take her gloves off with her teeth like that? She was already winning and she hadn't even done anything else yet. He was half tempted to close the distance between them right this second and forget their game but even as his gaze grew heated he forced himself to stay put.
He rolled his shoulders in preparation. "Let's find out," he challenged her.

She was not a fair fighter. At least not in his book, she knew exactly what she was doing by pulling the gloves off with her teeth. She knew that she was making him focus on one part of her. Her lips. The way her teeth sank into the dark leather of the glove. She felt like it was just all part of the strategy. Distract him enough to dust him in another cloud of snow from an incantation. She watched his shoulder roll and the moment he spoke, she was already moving.
Gloves thrown to the ground and a whispered set of words to cast another burst of telekenisis towards him, making sure it was aimed at the ground. Snow bursting upwards as she slide to a knee, hands quickly working on a snowball of its own and throwing it towards where she had last seen him.
Little minx. She knew all of his buttons at this point, it wasn't hard for her to know exactly how to mess with him. As she started to move towards him he waited until a new burst of snow exploded around them and then he ran off to the side. The snow blocked her view enough that by the time she threw the snowball he was no where near it. He quickly scooped up an entire armful of snow and then burst through the falling snow from her attack towards her and opened up his arms with the intent to dump the entire armful on top of her head now that she was lower on the ground.

She heard nothing for a moment, her eyes focused. But a movement from her side had her letting out a small shriek of laughter when she saw him. His arms full of snow, aiming to her. Had she been ready for something like that, she would have dove out the way. If she wanted to that is. Instead, she was laughing so hard that the snow collapsed onto of her curls. Some of it clinging to them and the rest of it landing on her shoulders and the ground. So she would from her position, launch herself at him. Aiming to wrap her around around his waist and take him to the ground. She was sure it would be like trying to more Kirin or Arrod themselves. Unless she got lucky, but she'd have fun either way. Playfully nipping at him in the space between them.
Logan had doubled over in laughter at having managed to outwit her as well as the sound of her own laughter and seeing how the snow cling to her hair and fell around her. If he had kept his composure then it would have been much harder to knock him over, instead he wasn't focused on his footing and she caught him just right. His boot slipped a bit in the snow and he tumbled into the snow with her where he laughed even harder, bringing tears to his eyes, his back flat against the snow.

The moment he went over, she braced herself. She went down with him, landing with a soft 'oof' as she landed chest to stomach with him. Her laughter building with him as he seemed to be in a fit of laughter. Right along with her. She shimmied her way up his chest until she could prop herself up on his chest and stare down at him. Though her vision was blurry as tears were starting to block her vision. Her sides starting to hurt. Though she couldn't help but scoop a small handful of snow next to him and toss it at his face.
Through his laughter his hands automatically moved to hold onto her, his hands resting on her sides. His eyes widened but couldn't stop laughing and gasped in shock and then laughed even harder when the snow hit his face. His hands automatically moved to her ribs in revenge and started to attempt to tickle her roughly, keeping his spot on the snow because even subconsciously he didn't want to force her into the snow. "You're gonna pay for that," he said, his cheeks and belly sore from smiling and laughing.

As he moved to tickle her, she let out a small shriek. Her hands flying down to try and stop him. Her knees hitting either side of his hips as she straddled him, leaning up to try and stop his hands from continuing their assault on her sides. Though she knew that her cheeks were almost splitting from her wide smile. She wiggled a little to try and get him to stop, her breaths coming out in gasps. "Logan! I - I can't - Stop!" Even though her words said it, she was laughing. Tears falling down her cheeks.
With his little threat, she almost challenged him further.... no she did. "How?" She gasped out between laughter. Trying to roll away from him at that point.
How? "Oh, the tickling isn't enough for you?" he asked, laughing, his hands continued their assault, moving from tickling her sides down to her thighs, searching for all of her ticklish spots. If she wanted more then she was going to get more. He moved one hand to grab a handful of snow and then pulled open the back of her shirt as he dropped the snow down into her clothes and gave her a daring 'oh yes I did' expression.

She thought about tapping out. About surrendering to him as his hands moved from her sides to her thighs. She actually wasn't as ticklish there, so she could gasp for air. But if his hands moved to the soft spots above her knees, she'd be done for. She was distracted on pulling in fresh air, that when the snow connected with her back, she jerked forward, her back arching as she tried to get it away from her. "Cheater!" She yelled at him, one hand flying behind her to tug at her shirt, yanking it from where it was tucked into her pants. "If I get sick, you better take care of me." She teased him, trying to shake out the snow instead of it falling down her pants. It only half worked.
She dove for the side and started trying to quickly throw as much snow around them that she could on top of him. Not that there was a ton but she at least would try. Still with the brightest smile on her face.
He laughed loudly and brightly as she called him a cheater and squirmed around to try to rid herself of the snow. He couldn't remember the last time that he had legitimately played in the snow with anyone. It had been years but it brought him right back to his childhood and made him feel alive and fully, undeniably, purely happy. There was no trace of grief or sadness in his body or his mind right now. He was fully caught up in the present with the woman he loved.
He made his best attempt to curl up with her on top of him as she started to toss snow on him, his arms curled around his face, his shoulders hunched to act as a barrier as he continued his laughter. He let out a happy yelp, "It's SO COLD!" he shouted against her assault.
