The palace ballroom is larger than most high noble estates. Everything within it is extravagant, from the gold flecks infused in the marble floors, to the cathedral ceilings, to the ever-changing decor.

Not only the ruling monarch resides in the palace; family members--both immediate and extended--often live in the palace, along with close friends, and many, many staff. Staff quarters are found below ground, and are, understandably, not to the same standard as those who live on the upper palace floors.

The royal library is the single largest collection of literature in all of Lorendale. Only those within the palace with business (aka noblemen and women) have access to the volumes.

The palace gardens are expansive, as there are more than one and every one of them is large and vast. The groundskeeper prides herself on attaining every kind of plant the entire body of land has to offer. The gardens are a prime location for walking and courting...
