[ One shot ]
Once the caravan's were back together, they wasted little time. Danior only waiting long enough for Jaskier to return from Arynn Frey before he pulled the drivers together for something that had been weighing heavily on him since the day they settled underground at the boarder. Since he walked around and saw the death that had been left for them. The death of the children. One's who didn't have names or dyrs, ones that did but didn't want to fight. The elderly who couldn't fight as needed. The death of those who did fight at the boarder and had fallen to the weapons and men of Coheed. He buried many of them himself with Menowin.
When the drivers came together, he made his thoughts clear: he wanted Coheed out of Dresmond and even then, he wanted to make them know that Dresmond was not to be messed with anymore. He wanted them to move into Coheed and destroy those who laid near it. With Arynn Frey denying help, they could only rely on themselves. Some driver's were supportive of this thought, and wanted to move sooner than Danior did. They wanted to get back the ones captured and get them home safely. While others expressed that they didn't think it was a good idea. What about Conclave that was due soon? The heavy medallion around Danior's neck wound up being his deciding factor, smothering the heat of the moment thoughts and reminding him exactly who he was and what his job was.
He expressed that the drivers who did want to go, and any others they might recruit, take time to recover. Plan. Be smart. So that way they could return home. Whether they took his advice or not was still to be seen.
The caravans decided to remain paired, Adoi and Kushti nearer the border but farther back than before into Dresmond to try and place a buffer between them. Just in case another attack was to come their way. Going as far as to have a few rogue's wonder closer to keep an eye out, to send a warning back to the larger caravan's if they spotted anything on the horizon. Rashai and Dijila fell back towards the mining route and were busier than ever. Working hard to repair what was broken and replace what was lost during battle. No one rested much, but the time was spent focusing on recovery and preparing themselves for the Hiems season that was slowly rolling in on them.
