The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Conall watched Regan closely as she spoke, she was quite the spitfire this one, he smirked slightly as she leaned in slightly closer to him, her words like ice as she spoke. "Cassian is not the right King, never has been. He sends his best soldiers to Lorendale to tend to their problems rather than protecting his own. If anything had happened here we would have been screwed." He said sharply. He continued to look at Regan at her words, wondering who she thought they had on their side. Irregardless of his and Magda's personal disputes he did not think she would have turned to the kings side.
His eyed narrowed just slightly, regarding Regan quietly as he pondered what to say next. Neither Rosa nor Grant added anything so this was between him and Regan it seemed. "I am listening… it would be rash of me to disclose my connections outright. Just yet. What is it you are suggesting and who is it you're working with?" He asked. He had the means to back their cause up, he wanted to see what she had to bring to it.

Fair enough. But Regan wasn’t about to lay Logan bare to someone she just met. She liked Rosamere well enough, but for all intents and purposes, they were still very much strangers. More to the point, she wasn’t exactly sure just how open she was allowed to be. Regan wasn’t a political mind: she was someone who followed orders. And it was occurring to her now that Logan’s orders had been unclear - at best. Still, she was going to bluff her way through it.
“I brought a Delaney with me as representation: that should tell you something. But for the same reasons you cited, that’s all I’m going to offer you right now. As for the second piece…” Regan leaned back in her chair, “What my people can offer is knowledge and access - two things that are worth more than all the gold you can throw. But there’s strength in numbers, and we need to know just what kind of numbers are out there.” Regan scrunched up her brow, thinking.
“I arranged this meeting with Rosamere to determine whether you are serious people or if these are all talk and no substance. I’m not at liberty to solidify any sort of plan with you today. There are bigger people at play here than me, which should give you some sort of comfort,” Regan smirked, amused by her own half-joke, “But my suggestion is this: I arrange a meeting with you and someone with more…authority in all this. I’m a footsoldier, and if you’re fixing to be some sort of powerful figure once this is all said and done, then you should meet with one.”
She crossed her arms. Regan thought that was reasonable enough. After all, did Conall Morrigan really want to be making deals with commoner scum like her?

Conall smirked slightly as Regan noted she'd brought a Delaney as representation but he said nothing just nodded. She'd brought her training partner, her protector and her wolf, not one of the more important Delaney's. Her bringing Grant was like him bringing Theodore, though as a pair Grant and Regan no doubt we're far more powerful in brute strength than Conall and Theodore would have been in any respect. That was not to say Conall thought Grant was a nobody, he was somebody… somebody worth having interest in if Magda had been in any sort of serious relationship with him. As a self serving woman, Magda had to have seen something in Grant to waste her time.
He watched as she leaned back in her chair, nonchalantly advising what her people offered, knowledge and access, and she was correct in her idealization that those things held great worth. When she mentioned that there were bigger people at play, this did indeed comfort him, but only somewhat. "You footsoldiers are what will win this war… not the higher ups. Pen pushers with connections aren't the ones who end up on the front line. Never call yourself JUST a footsoldier." He said looking from Regan to Grant for a moment, making sure Grant understood he was talking to him as well.
"I will await this arranged meeting, sooner than later would be preferred of course. I would like you three all there as well, get recognition where it is due. You three put your necks on the line for this cause. You deserve it." He said sharply, making sure Rosa knew he meant her as well as the two soldiers before him.

Regan felt her chest swell a little with pride at Conall’s words. She wanted to be important - not to Conall, but to Logan. After all, that’s who this was all about really. It wasn’t about her opinions on the king - in truth, she had few - or a genuine desire to see a new order in Nevermere. Logan had given direction, and she had followed. That’s the way it had always been, and, as far as she was concerned, the way it always would be. She nodded efficiently to indicate it would be done, before standing and holding out her hand for Conall to shake.
“I look forward to working with you, Lord Morrigan.” Regan had forgotten entirely about dinner. Her mind was already spinning with a dozen other thoughts. If Conall shook her hand, she’d look to Grant and make to leave.

Regan nodded to him before she stood and offered her hand. Conall took it strongly but he held it for a moment as he addressed Regan and Grant both. ”One thing… Lady Ivonova is now working with Cassian. This may be good for our cause, or bad. I am unsure as she and I no longer work together and she no doubt wants my blood spilled. I only advise you of this so you are careful who you trust. I do not believe she would turn her back on the cause as she was very keen on the same outcome that we are working for, however things change and the only guarantee we have is that things will change at the drop of a hat.”
”I look forward to it as well” He said as he shook Regan’s hand, gently but with purpose and then he reached for Grants. ”I am aware we do not have the best past, but I look forward to becoming brothers in the cause.” He would shake Grant’s hand as well if he would let him before looking to Rosa with a smile.
