The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

This fall and winter was a period of low activity for the site, but even so, the Dresmond board has continued to simmer with excitement. This kingdom has moved from distant side dish to a dramatic main course in the world of Terra Nova. A big shout out to members Heather, Nix, and Darkest whose high activity has helped lead it through a renaissance into a new era!

She hadn't known anything about Lady Winters past her name, and hadn't particularly cared to. Rosamere had had no expectations to ever meet her outside of formal occasions and even then, there were usually enough people that she would have been able to avoid both Winters. However, that was obviously an oversight on her side because Kat was refreshing, didn't sugar coat things, and was practical. All of which she appreciated.
"I don't normally visit on a schedule but if there is a day that works best for you, I can be here then."

Kat frowned, she didn't really have a set schedule so it wouldn't make meeting easy. Still she wasn't about to give up easily, that never was her way. "Well what if you came for lunch at the Winters estate. It'll be easier for you to get to I assume?" Plus she didn't like discussing Van Zant business at the Midnight House. She didn't trust easily and with Ravin missing that mistrust was doubled.

Rosamere rolled it around in her head for a second. It was a good idea and there wouldn't necessarily be anyone trying to eavesdrop. Not to mention, it would publicly show good will at least between the two ladies, if nothing else. "That would work rather well, and I can at least get started on some of the general healing salves and potions too."

Nodding her head it sounded like a solid plan. Working with someone highborn was a little out of character for her, but Rosamere was interesting. "It's settled then. Next Thursday work?" Kat was sure she'd be able to stop by the orphanage by then, and she rarely was needed around here at lunch time.

Rosamere nodded. She could have some of the more common medical salves prepared even if she didn't finish the potions in time. A sense of determination settled in her gut. She didn't know where Ravin had gone but she could still help other folks, people who really needed it. "Thursday would be perfect. Thank you Kat, so much." She gave the other woman a bright smile.

Kat had been glad to let her boss make all the connections for the ones who needed it, but he was gone, and while hopefully not forever orphans shouldn't be sick because of it. "Focus on Scavenger's Lung treatment before I can get a more comprehensive list." She didn't know what to say to the thanks and bright smile that Rosamere presented. So she nodded her head briskly and stood. "See you Thursday, now I won't keep you any longer, sure your siblings would get suspicious if I sent you back plied with wine and late."

Rosamere committed that to mer mental list at the top of her potions to make column. Which meant it was the only one at the moment since none of her siblings had requested anything of her lately. "I'll read up on it tonight, get a feel for it before I start any brewing and to make sure I have everything in stock." It was rare that she didn't have an ingredient, but it did happen on occasion. She stood and with a small wave, grabbed her basket and left the Midnight House.
It would only be moments after she left that a man would fall in step beside her. "Does your brother know you like to visit such places, little Morrigan?" A voice Rosamere would recognize as Calix Osxiano, one of her brother's contacts, as he put his hand in the small of her back to lead her back towards the main streets and ignoring her grumbling. "Come on, let's get you back to your home."
