Baldovino smiled "Yes, even women." It wasn't a direct ask if that was what she meant but he could tell that what she was hinting at. Offered to train her. "Well, it's all about getting to know them, trusting each other. It took some practice to look for the signs of where the limits are. For each person the signs are different." He looked at her wondering if she trust him enough to push her.

He isn't gifted but he has trained some gifted in physical combat and swordsmanship.

Trust. That was something that Oriana had very little of. She had been burned by people who said they loved her family, and her entire life had been turned upside down because of it. And trusting a stranger? Now that was something she hadn't considered for a long time. "Trust, that must take some time to build with each student?" Her life was very much a closed book. Her status as a gifted, even her last name, all things she hid from Lorendale. "And you must be a good teacher." Stepping up onto the pedestal she measured the length of his arms, certainly ones that saw a lot of training.

Baldo looked forward and his arms were relaxed so she can get a good measurement of them. "Trust does take time to build, but sometimes the willingness to let it build has to be there. Willingness not just to trust but to train is key. If you put half the effort then what the point." he explained. He has seen students putting half the effort and just not getting as far as other students who put one hundred percent in it.

Oriana was sure that she could put the effort into training. But trust, in a stranger, that was something she wasn't sure she could commit to. He was probably a rather nice man, but that didn't mean much. One slip and an accidental use of her gift could end with a collar smacked around her for being a dangerous risk. The crown had apparently moved on, but she wasn't so sure. "And how do you get them to trust you if they barely know you? Willing or not that can't be easy."

"Hopefully in time as we spend time together we get to know each other. I get to know them, they get to know me, more then just a trainer, but as a person. I was in their position at one point." He looked at her softly. "i know trust is hard. I am not expecting anybody to tell me their darkest secret on our first training session or ever. That up to them, just do what's comfortable with you, always listen to your heart. You will know when you trust someone. I don't know how that differs for each person. "

Oriana smiled as she wrapped the tape around his shoulder and under the armpit. "Already saying we? Good to know." Winking she laughed and continued her work. Working in the dress store she didn't have to trust anyone but herself. It put her in the same rut of relying on herself and competing with everyone else.

Wrapping the tape around his chest she hummed in thought. "What colors do you tend towards?" Avoiding the topic of trust and why she seemed to uneasy about it was absolutely her plan.

Baldo laughed at her question and winked. "well we are going to be seeing a lot of time with each other. So why not?" Baldo gave a playful wink as he watched her. She was being through with making sure that she got all the measurements. Baldovino years ago would of found it hard to smile to people he just met and even though he was not the most social Nobleman in lorendale he has learnt that sometime a small could brighten somebodies day.

He noticed that she changed the subject he thought best to let her cause if they was to build trust it sometimes easier to let the other person guild the speed. "I do tend go towards light blues. Forest green and brown. Sometime i do love a good red in some places." He smiled. "What are your favourite colours?"

"Well I could certainly get used to that." Just because she wasn't good with trust, that didn't mean she couldn't take a couple self-defense lessons though. Besides he was good company, handsome company at that. Oriana would have to consider things though, because if she let her guard down her gift could surface, and that's the last thing she needed.

Nodding her head, Oriana already had a couple ideas floating around her mind. She was glad he didn't tend towards boring colors, and he actually had an okay idea about combinations. "I try not to limit myself with colors. But I love red, gold, and black." Still sometimes flowers and pinks fit a situation better, it was all about knowing the about your audience

Baldovino smiled softly at her when she said that she could get used to the idea of using the term we. me and you seem so formal and how can they learn trust if the idea of formalities is there. He might be a trainer, he was a soilder before that and he is still just a man under that. Just a man. Plus Oriana seem great company, beautiful possible seems light so seem quick on her feet so will be great for training.

"I can totally see you looking stunning in a red and gold dress." He smiled

Wrapping the tape around his neck she held it gently, making sure not to pull it too tight. She had far better ways to hurt people, and Baldovino didn't seem like one of the anti-gifted types. Really she had no idea, but he seemed gentle, and weirdly malleable for some reason. Most noble men she met weren't quite like him. And his compliments certainly weren't hurting.

"And I don't look stunning now?" Smiling she stepped down from the pedestal, writing everything down in her notebook. Oriana had the confidence to think she looked stunning in anything, but certain colors complimented her appearance more. "I'll just have to show you some time."

The way she had the tape around his neck was a nice change. most of the time the tailor he has been to in the past they have a bit rough with the measurement and quick. Few have been gentle so this was a welcome change. He made sure that he hold his head and neck still so she could get a good reading. It did help that he was taller than her so she didn't have to look down at it. He wasn't anti-gifted which at the moment it time is a very dangerous thing to say out loud but he believes they all have right and after the attack of the Eldouirs both side are just more scared.

He let out a small laugh. "You look stunning Oriana." Baldo smiled looking at her. He wasn't just saying that cause he thought she was fishing for a compliment. "I will be looking forward to that day." He doesn't know a lot about fashion but he can tell when something was beautiful.

"Of course I do, no one wants to buy a dress from someone who can't pull one off." Smiling she grabbed a bolt of one of her favorite forest greens, flipping a bit of the fabric over his shoulder and examining him carefully. The color did match him well, and she could see why he wore the color often.

Tossing her hair behind her shoulder she pulled the fabric back down. "Well you'll just have to come find me again then." Making a couple more notes in her book she was sure she would have enough information if Baldovino trusted her enough to make the suit. "What do you think? Trust me enough to make you look just as stunning?"

"Your skilled craftmanship, your workmanship, the way you move to take measurement. Possible help as well." he smiled as he pointed out some factor that he has noticed when he mat her. Plus she there a part of him that saying that they are both hiding stuff from each other. for Him is that part of his memories are missing. Which unbeknowing to him is stirring a lot up. Thankfully his kids are safe at home with Larah, for Oiana only she knows.

"I will have to find you again." He smiled he will looking forward to seeing in the dress and of course he will if she making the suite then he will. When she asked if he trust her enough he nodded. "yeah i trust you enough. how much? or is training the payment? cause i can work both ways."
