Quen woke up before Lio for a change, he’d been working so hard for Conall and picking up where she was slacking due to her not feeling well that he was no doubt exhausted. They’d sent note to Rosa a few days advising that they wanted to see her and what their suspicions were so if she knew of any spells, potions, whatever that would give them a definite, she could have it ready. Quen got dressed as quietly as possible do as not to wake him up, kissing his cheek and slipping out of their room. He made him an egg and sausage sandwich after tending the animals quickly and headed back to the bedroom where he was sleeping. She’d saddled two horses, one for them and one for Conall that she’d promised him, a colt from two of her best. They’d long ago paid off what they owed him but she still gave him a horse now and again and this little colt was a spitfire from the moment he hit the ground… he was perfect for Conall, a right pain in the ass from the get go and even Conall had to laugh at that when she told him exactly that.

Quen set the plate on her nightstand as she moved to cuddle against Liono and wake him up, cuddling her nose against his neck as she playfully nipped at his bare collarbone and wrapped her arm around him. ”Morning my heart and soul” she said softly as she peppered him with kisses playfully and trailed her fingers over his flesh. ”I made you a breakfast sandwich… your favorite” she laughed softly. She’d put a bit of pepper sauce on it, working on perfecting different sauces and spreads from the peppers and various vegetables in their garden. She hoped it was not too spicy as she rolled to grab it and hand it to him. ”We have a saddled horse and the colt for Conall and a basket of stuff for Rosa’ from the garden all ready to go my love.” she smiled as she cuddled against him while he ate.
