The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

( @bragon )
Walking through the streets of Loren at her usual steady clip, Mara was making good time. She always did because she needed to these days. There was so much to do, and most of her time was spent at the palace. But she had two children to protect, and so she needed to do something about that. And so here she was striding to take matters into her own hands.
Stepping into the dog training establishment just outside the town square she knocked on the door as she went. Looking around the place had come on high recommendations from everyone she had asked. She planned to shop around a little, but it would probably be best to start with the apparent best. It would be for her children and they were her family. "Hello? I'm looking for Adilsson?
Bragon’s days begin at dawn. Chores are usually completed by the time the sun rises, giving him the morning and early afternoon to deal with clients. The rest of the day is usually spent training the hounds.
This diligent schedule had made him highly recommended in the palace and nearby land. So, it wasn’t a surprise when he saw the higher class lady walk into his establishment.
“Good afternoon, My lady. I’m Adilsson. But you can just call me Bragon. ” he did his best to be formal and show respect to any customer, no matter the status.
Bragon eyed the woman respectfully. He was not one to gawk at the opposite gender, but this beautiful woman made it very tempting. Usually it was the husbands of the house that came to him for guard dogs or family pets.

Nodding her head Mara inwardly squirmed at the idea of dropping any formalities, but outwardly her polite smile only wrinkled slightly. Years of court, law and pretty dresses, had taught her to keep a poker face. But she could drop the last name she supposed.
"Bragon then, I was interested in a hound for protection. Is that something you can do?" Direct, to the point, no fluff. There was no point in anything else, especially when it came to her children's safety. And she didn't exactly have time to train one herself, nor did she know how to.
“Of course!” He said happily, “if you don’t mind me asking, is it for you or for the family?”
He didn’t mean any harm asking the question. It was a determining factor when it came to picking which blood line to choose from. Some of his dogs were willing to bound with more than one person, a family with children for instance. Others were a one man (or woman dog).
“I can train the dog for you. Or help you train the dog yourself. I suggest the second option because it causes the dogs to bond more closely to you”

Having no experience in training dogs, Mara was willing and glad to answer any question tossed her way. It’s what she did in law practice so why would someone else’s job be any different? ”For me and my children preferably. With everything going on these days I worry it’s more important than ever.” The last part wasn’t necessary for his question but she wanted to make it clear she wanted to start the process immediately.
”How much of my time would it take?” With a her new position time was a luxury she was not often afforded, but she wasn’t going to back down quickly. If he was suggesting it she would figure out the facts and if it was possible. Weigh the worth and the benefits. Because she wanted the best for her children like every mother did.
