The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

"well i wish you all the best at re-traing them cause you'll need it they really need it." he halved laugh but he meant it. like they was all fun and games. "i am happy that they making progress and anytime lietanent. you are a man of honour and I could easily say amazing stuff about you all day if i was allowed." He laughed softly.
"Yeah it going to be hard when she doesn't need me anymore, but it doesn't mean i would stop being there for them, even when I am old and frail and they have kids of their own, I will still still do anything to see them smile. I guess that what any fathers right?" He asked.
"I appreciate your words, Lord Cortell. They humble me, genuinely." He said. Thoughts of his wife and child remained, remembering a time when his son was young and he thought the same as Romulo did. That he would always be there, even when he was too old to take care of himself. That he would do anything to make sure they were both safe and happy. The fact that he had been unable to do either reminded him of how fragile such promises were. "Yes, that is what any father would want for their family. Your devotion to them is honorable."
He sighed somewhat, and there was a knock on the door. "Come in," he said. Lady Aveline returned and walked over to the desk, placing a few pieces of parchment in front of Warren. "Just a moment, Lord Cortell," he said, skimming over the papers he'd been given. Then he stood up. "Actually, I'll have to take my leave of you now, Lord Cortell. It seems we may have found your stolen item after all." He pulled his jacket from the back of his chair and began to put it on. Then walked around the desk and offered Romulo another handshake.
"I've enjoyed our conversation, Lord Cortell. If this lead allows me to locate the necklace and thief, I will send word to you immediately. If you prefer, I can stop by your place of business to return it to you. Or your home, as you've already made the trip to the palace and I'd hate to ask you to do so a second time."
