The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Change in how times flows. Was 4 IC seasons, now only 2 IC seasons per 1 OOC year.
5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

'dont take what she says personally,' Yule was speaking directly to Cypha, 'this place and those we serve... they've broke her you understand? She knows not what she does as wrong,' he bobbed and pecked at the ground as they all walked.
"Yeah friends...I like that Rhidi and that's what I want," Eirwen was as happy as a bullfrog on a log, "so friends do things for friends right? Well I need ears and eyes on the ground around here....you picking up what I'm laying down?"
Cypha immediately calmed down when Yule spoke to her. She was surprised to hear the dyr explain away the girls reasons. Excuses, more like it. Cypha didn't care too much for excuses, but it was interesting nonetheless. They weren't a particularly smart pair, Rhidi and his fat raccoon, but fat or not, she could sense the difference between the girl and her dyr. "Yeah, well...this place as broke most people. We're not blaming anyone for that kind of thing, ya know. Those Eldouir are nothing to joke about." It was just about the most Cypha had ever done in the way of attempting to understand someone, and she wasn't going to make a habit of it.
"Yeah, friends do stuff for friends," Rhidi agreed. That was obvious enough to him. "Ears and eyes on the ground? You mean, like...literally, or like, you want me to watch people?" He asked, though he did speak a little more quietly for that last part. "I mean, I'll do either one, yanno, but watching the actual ground would be a little weird. Don't think anythings gonna grow unless we make it."

Eirwen giggled almost overly excited, as if that was the greatest thing she'd ever heard, until she just cut it off, "Don't be silly," she wore a smirk though and sounded not the least bit enthusiastic, "yes I need to know what's going on at all times on the streets understand? And I don't care about food stealing or anything like that, I want know about big things: traitors, saboteurs...got me? You report to me and I'll make sure the Eldouir throw me extra and I can throw that at you, but no one knows who you are..."
His eyes brightened a bit when she offered to throw him some of her extra scraps, and he quickly nodded. "Oh yeah, sure, no problem! I can do that, easy as a brush fire on a dry day." Rhidian had never hesitated to hand people over if it benefited him. He didn't think Eirwen was the type, but had he rejected her idea, she could have tried to hurt him. No, could have succeeded. The soldiers were strong, even the small one. Better to stay on her good side, and it wasn't like people said those kinds of things around him anyway. What was the worst that could happen?
"Anyone says anything, I'll take it straight to you."

She gently patted his cheek, "you are a doll Rhidi," she winked at Cypha, "you too ya little fat thing, I'll be in touch inna few days," Eirwen and Yule would depart with some chilling parting words that she sang with a happy tune, "don't die !"
