The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Change in how times flows. Was 4 IC seasons, now only 2 IC seasons per 1 OOC year.
5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Without really looking up, Aydin answered Citra's question: "As much as you can find. Once we have collected some, we'll see which pieces will work best." She pulled out some string from the pile she was going through and placed it over her shoulder before continuing to look through the pile.
It took persistent rummaging, multiple scrap piles, and a fairly significant amount of time, but Citra and Aydin were eventually able to scrounge together some scraps that would make for a passable bow. She had settled on a springy, bendable piece of wood and found what had looked like a bowstring wrapped around some other object. Although teenager hardly expected whatever they made here to resemble the craftsmanship of a master bow maker, she hoped it would suffice.
With Aydin’s guidance, she managed to construct something that would pass for a bow. It was neither particularly pretty nor likely very durable, but it was something. Citra turned to Aydin. “Do you know how to make arrows, too?”
"I do", she replied when Citra asked about arrows. They had managed to make a bow for the girl, so they would be able to hunt something. The bow wasn't ideal, but it was better than nothing and would certainly still work. "But I'll show you how to make them later, or some other time. I have enough for the both of us." They gestured at the quiver on her back, that she had made out of hides.
It would have been better if they would practice before she showed Citra how to actually hunt, but that was a waste of arrows. So they'd just have to get real immediately. "Shall we?" she asked, nodding in the directing of the grassy plains that were just outside of Elderkeep.
