Warren's shoulders visibly dipped when the soldier confessed. He reached up and rubbed at his eyes and forehead as the young man in front of him trembled in the wake of Van Zant's anger. Kasper seemed to have taken what happened to Wilson Barr to heart. Warren couldn't blame him. There was no way of knowing what would have happened if Norman hadn't allowed the other soldiers to take the ingredients: they could have just gotten them from somewhere else, or could have sneaked in while no one was around.
Still, he had his share of culpability. "There are more guilty men to locate, Sergeant Van Zant. Go retrieve a few more soldiers to help in collecting them. Bring them here."
Once Kasper left, Warren would turn back to Norman. "Tell me the names of the soldiers who were involved, Mr. Bancroft, and the extent of your involvement and what you know of what happened. Quickly."
