The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

It was rare that a woman managed to pleasantly surprise him, but Koralia had been all about pleasant surprises so far. A wide grin broke through his otherwise stoic features, and he even laughed. "It's been a while since somebody has been so direct with me. It's a good quality." It was uncommon for him to compliment someone, let alone a woman. "I completely agree." They now ruled over Coheed, and he wouldn't be afraid to let them know that. He knew his way around weapons, if it came to that.
He stood again. "You're an impressive woman, Lady Barkirtis. I will not forget your face or name anytime soon. The military truly missed out by not making you a drill instructor. Have you ever thought about placing down the scalpel and picking up the sword?"

Kora laughed softly at Ibrahim's compliment of her ability to be so direct with him. "Well what can i say, I love putting people in their place." She smirked. She hated people walking around thinking they rule everything and so people need a slap round their head to knock common sense in their pea size brain they have.
Standing at the same time as the lord, she agree that she is an impressive lady, it doesn't take just anyone to run the military wing. "I have a couple times thought about it a couple of times, however at the moment in time, I don't trust some of the dimwits that is in the medical wings without me to guide them in there. It is a battle field of it's own."

He smirked at her, but the conversation was coming to an end. He would only be caught giving so many compliments before he got fired of someone. He had now seen what kind of person Koralia was, and she could prove to be useful. "I understand that", he responded in regards to the medical wing being a battlefield of itself. "Well, good luck, lady Barkirtis." He would move towards the exit of the tent with the potion and stuff she had given him.
