[ Made for Sylas Llewellyn ]
Kezia had settled into her new role... for the most part. While she didn't see eye to eye over everything, she did her best to help be the voice of the Dresmondi towards those of Arynn Frey. It also helped that she had Sylas, the prince of Arynn Frey who she had a very personal relationship with. It had actually been part of the conditions of her being with Sylas that she have some sort of role with the public. The next thing was marriage... and that was something it seemed both Kezia and Sylas were barely talking about.
It wasn't that Kezia didn't want to be with him. She did. It was the most unDresmondi like thing she had done. She had been with him, just him, now for over five years. She was only Sylas'. So why was marriage such a big deal? Well... Sylas seemed to tense when it had been told to them that they'd be expected to marry eventually if they wanted to stay together... Which made her tense. So now she avoided it. And maybe it was her last little tie to keeping her Dresmondi that also made her hesitant to bring it up herself.
Her fingers traced her neck, right where the heavy brass collar had once sat. The skin now flawless because of Sylas' handy work. But she did it as she walked through the crowd of Dresmondi. Moving amongst the caravans and saying hello to everyone she made eye contact with. Some didn't return it, still eyeing her cautiously because she had not only accepted the Arynnite's, but she shared a bed with one... even if it wasn't like how they thought.
In five years, the two had never actually slept together. Plenty of other things, things that Sylas seemed to enjoy with her. But they had never taken that final step. She didn't complain, things with Sylas were slow sometimes, and she loved that about him. It still amused her when people would be shocked at how easily the prince would reach for her and allow her and her dyr to touch him when he wouldn't even shake hands with others.
Kezia happend to look up and caught sight of said prince up ahead. Waiting on her to finish her meeting with some of the Dresmondi to make sure that she answered questions and brought back things they had questions for. Her face lit up, as did Raiden, as they drew closer. Except that was when Raiden suddenly stopped. His ears twisting as he caught a familiar sound, his head moving to look around. 'Clementine...' he said the name so surely that Kezia abruptly stopped only a few feet from Sylas and spun. Her eyes scanning the crowd as Raiden suddenly bolted. "Jaskier?" She called, still unable to see him as Raiden got lost in the crowd.
