The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

Feeling the pain, even though it was pleasurable he have to try and work though the pain. This woman was indeed intriguing and he want to know more about her and gather information about her. "No it not to much to ask." He want to make sure everybody safe and even it that mean putting a end of some people then so be it. It was indeed a risk. He tries to reposition himself to try and get into a more comfortable position then the one he currently in.
He thought for a bit about any gossip he heard. "You heard about the Marquis Baldovino's death. There are rumors going round that it was a gifted attack and yet since the body was found Maquis Tybalt Zane is doing nothing about it. It like they know something as the body at his funeral was covered. Unable to be seen to the public eye. So they know something." He explained, in Ghayth opinion it was kinda of fishy that his body was covered, like if it wasn't a gifted then why being so secretive about it? Like he would understand if it was a animal attack and it was too graphic for people to see, however, not looking into it/ keeping it secret... something was up.
"Also, there was a community meeting held by Marchioness Andino and Marchioness Kane, to try and hear the voices of the gifted community during that meeting Remiel Allemeade came in and announced that they will be willing to house gifted if they need it at the keep. From the sounds of things Marchioness Kane wasn't too keen on the idea of it." Like it was risky indeed especially so recent after the farm attack.

As far as intel went, Acacia was quite pleased with what she heard. She had indeed heard about the death of Baldovino, but didn't know that Gifted were the suspect. But to call it useful intel? No. If anything, it was good that the commander didn't seem to spend much attention or time on the case. Now the people knew they couldn't just screw the Gifted community over, but none of her brothers or sisters in arms were hurt in the process. The person or persons responsible for the murder were still roaming free, and if they actually were Gifted, Cassie was happy with this. "That's good news, if you ask me", she responded dryly. Luckily, Ghayth also had some other information.
"A community meeting?" Acacia played with her bottom lip as she thought. Those damned Allemeades. What were they up to now? They had spent way too much time with the Eldouir anyway. Thinking a commune would save them now, after what happened to the Eldouir was ridiculous. "You're quite useful, Orvar. I'll let you live, for now. Where do you live? When I need you, I'll send a letter over and you meet me here." She waited for his response and wouldn't be leaving before he told her where he lived. He would become her informant, whether he liked it or not.

"yeah a community meeting. there most of been about a hundred people in attendance. I don't know how many where gifted, as I feel was trying to encourage gifted who hasn't registered to register." He admitted. He wonder if this woman here was registered or not. He has a feeling she wasn't not with a gift like this. It was indeed could be a danger.
When she asked him where he lived he thought for a moment wondering if he should tell her. telling her would possible put his family at risk, however there was apart of him, that was saying that if he didn't, his family where put in greater risk of danger. It was indeed a gamble. "I live at the Orvar estate, it about a fifteen minute horseback ride from these woods." His eyes went down. Like he wonder though, if he keep coming would he feel the poison again? Feel the pleasure of the poison running through his body.

She raised an eyebrow and was barely able to refrain herself from laughing. Luckily, she did manage to do so. "Lord Orvar, you're not Gifted, correct? So it's really none of your business to get unregistered Gifted to get registered." She walked over to another tree to lean against it, still staying quite far away from the man do he wouldn't be able to see her face. "You claim that you would fight alongside them, gather intel so they aren't kept in the dark, and day that they're powerful. Yet you would try to keep them down by forcing them to get registered?" She shook her head and made a tsk-sound. "You do realise that the very notion of the registry is to dominate the Gifted, right? It's the monarchy's way of trying to make sure they're not overpowered by Gifted because they know they're stronger than them."
Acacia paused for a moment. "You need to re-evaluate your actions. You can't be an ally and support the fact that Gifted need to get registered. Speak your mind now, convince me that you're worthy of helping the Gifted." During her her entire monologue, she had made sure not to refer to herself as part of the Gifted community, and also didn't spill whether she was registered herself or not.
When he told her where he lived, she simply made a sound that made it obvious that she had heard him. She didn't want to waste too much words on him after her monologue.

He laugh softly, he listened to her monologe, her voice carried like a woman who was fierce and powerful, a leader in her own right. A woman he could possible full behind. "I wasn't the one who was asking was in a way 'encouraging them' I would never want to bring you, or any other gifted down you are powerful. It feels like Marchioness Scout Kane was the one leading the show with that front. I was sitting in the back listening trying to gather information about who was there. A few people spoke out about helping." He tries to sit up and move to a tree and lean his back against it.
"I am a ally because clearly the non-gifted are not doing a great job and suppressing the true wonders that in front of them, they think they can push gifted aside and think that all can be merry, fuck them then. Non-gifted are not worthy of the wonders that are gifted. fuck them for trying to hold them back because in reality the non-gifted who are behind the registration are scared, scared of the unknown. Me? The unknown thrills me, it give me pleasure. I will serve gifted to the last breath I take." There was passion, a deep fire burning deep with in his voice. Every single word came out was pure fire pure electrity as he gave her his all, trying to convice her that he will stand behind her and the rest of the gifted community.

She rolled her eyes. Encouraging or forcing, they were both equally bad in her opinion. But Ghayth Orvar was an interesting fella. Something about him was so appealing to her, and even though he was burning with passion and lust inside, it was different for her. She wanted to own him. He would have to serve her, provide her with information when she wanted. Now it was time for him to monologue. Acacia stayed where she was, leaning against the tree and looking at the man on the ground while he talked.
"The degradation kink is strong with this one", she mumbled under her breath as she crept closer to him again, very slowly. "Why do you feel so strongly about the Gifted?" she asked. She had never met anyone quite this driven by a belief that wasn't a Gifted themselves. This man understood that he was a lesser citizen and that the Gifted were the most powerful beings, yet he didn't seem to mind, and he wanted to serve them.
Acacia retook the position on his back that she had previously been in by making a big curve around him before sitting down. "So, you wouldn't mind being collared either?" she asked. Whatever his response would be, she would proceed to do the next: she pushed his head to the side again, softly, like last time, and bend over to be closer to his ear and neck. "You'll be my prized possession from now on." She ripped his shirt and sunk her teeth into the skin of his shoulder. The poison would not cause any harm this time, but it would leave a scar, known as spider angioma, which consisted of small, dilated blood vessels under the surface of the skin. The chances of it leaving a scar were normally small with actual spiders, but Acacia made sure that this one would be a lovely permanent scar the size of a ping-pong ball on his shoulder blade. Out of sight for anyone else, but Ghayth would know it was there, and so would she.
"Now you're officially mine. If you ever cross me, I will find you, and you know what will happen next."
Acacia then stood up, removed her gloves once again and climbed the nearest tree. Then she was gone.
