The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Kasper is young enough to fall under the werewolf curse, yet it is dormant. Should the curse be activated his wolf form will be that of a white shaggy fur color keeping his smallness even though he is still rather large for a werewolf. His eyes also retain their green color.

(this thread is for @temperance ; one or two replies is necessary for this! This takes place before Vers and before Kaspers departure)
Kasper had gathered what information he needed, he had visited and took notes from Stormcrest. He also had the details of Captain Warren Woodwick and his own, he had simplified that even further as he arrived at the home of Temperance Towers. The Sergeant thought it was a great starting point suggested by the Captain, so knocked loudly at the door and waited patiently for someone to answer.
Temperance hadn't been expecting anyone. It was still early, and she was still working out of her home while the glass was being replaced in her damaged greenhouse. The knock startled both she and Melody (Temperance's hired help). The older woman looked to Temperance, and the younger woman simply shrugged. "I'm sure it's just a walk-up. I'm almost done here, go ahead and let them in." She told Melody. Melody merely nodded, headed to the door as she wiped flour from her hands, and pulled it open. She looked the man in front of her in the eyes, then looked him up and down. He looked healthy up.
"Are you here to see Temperance for a potion, sir?" Melody asked, though she blocked his entrance for the moment. Temperance didn't usually allow just anyone inside. They'd been choosy about it ever since the greenhouse had been destroyed. Soldier or not, he had to have a good reason, otherwise Temperance could take his order outside when she had a moment.
The small apothecary was on the other side of the cottage, though Kasper could likely see her over Melody's shoulder. The sleeves of her green dressed were rolled up to her elbows and her hair was pulled back tightly with a ribbon as she leaned over a fire, stirring the contents of a bubbling potion.

"No, well not to purchase but I have questions about them and Captain Warren Woodwick has pointed me toward Miss Towers for assistance in the matter," Kasper answered with a soft smile, "If you could tell her Seargent Van Zant is here and I'd really really appreciate it, won't take long at all."
"Oh, Captain Woodwick sent you?" Temperance said, head tilted curiously as she looked toward the door from the fireplace. "It's alright, Melody, let him in." She said. Melody would move aside, gesturing for Kasper to enter and returning to her work in the kitchen. "Come on over, dear. I'd go to you, but I have to keep stirring this potion or it'll burn," she said, motioning her head toward the long wooden spoon she was using to spin in circles in the cauldron that sat over the fire.
"I apologize for all the hooplah," Temperance said with a smile. "I don't usually work directly out of my home. You said you have some questions about potions. Fire away, Sergeant."

"No worry about apologies Ms. Towers your assistance will be very beneficial to my investigation," he came to a stop in front of Temperances work station filtering through his work until he found his small dissertation, "I need help finding what kind of potion would have the following side effects: the potion lowered one’s inhibitions, causing extreme recklessness and dangerous overconfidence. From a few of my gathered statements they found their emotions intensified ranging from euphoria, lust, and general excitement, some experienced more volatile emotions of passion, like rage, possessiveness, and jealousy," he paused and flipped his paper over, "Yeah that's it...do you think you know what potion caused this and if you do could Meldoy here copy the ingredients used to make such a potion?"
Temperance lifted her free arm up to her head and swiped the sweat from it once again. Despite the Hiems weather outside, the inside of the little cottage was quite warm and standing directly over the fire, with her arm practically inside of it, didn't help. Her lips turned upward as he spoke of the potion, and dark eyes turned to study him. "Any kind of alcohol can do all of those, except...hm, not generally euphoria though."
She tapped her chin and tilted her head from side to side. "Assuming you've already ruled out alcoholic beverages, the only potion I can think of that would fit would be a fortitude potion. Generally soldiers use it to stave off pain or tiredness, but it's a finicky dosage. Too much will have similar effects to drunkenness. I'd wager that is what you're looking for. Melody," the older woman waved Temperance off as she was already dipping into the office to grab some parchment to write on. When she was done, she walked over to Kasper and handed him the list of ingredients.

Kasper was easily satisfied when he took the list from Melody, "damn Captain was right, you do know your potions," the Sergeant took the list and added a few notes before putting it away with the rest of his evidence, "Miss Melody and Miss Towers this is more than enough thank you both for your cooperation, ladies I'll be out of your hair now have a good day."
Witha respectful nod of his head Kasper exited, his next destination was the potions keeper at the military wing.
