The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Change in how times flows. Was 4 IC seasons, now only 2 IC seasons per 1 OOC year.
5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

There was little for Wren to do these days but patiently wait and diligently train. The Valkyries had gotten a little lazy during her time in Coheed, so she wasted no time whipping them back into shape. She was the kind of trainer who expected the seemingly impossible from her people—and did it alongside them.
With a brow wet from sweat and her chest still heaving from the exertion of sprinting around the whole of Cambria, Wren dismissed the Valkyries to bathe and rest. They would go up on the mountain that night to eat and drink together, as they often did to build their camaraderie.
Wren took shade under a tree. They had stopped their run just on the outskirts of the kingdom-turned-city, where the forest’s edge stopped. The warrior leaned against the tree to wedge off her shoe, inspecting the blister that had formed during her run.
Waiola was walking around when she noticed somebody who looked like Wren. She have seen her around and she knew of her coming and going, but never really talked to her much. As she got closer she noticed she was inspecting what looks like a blister. "Needs cleaning before any possibility of getting an infection."
Thankfully she was out tethering some basic ingredients for remedies to help aid people to get better. So she possibly have some things to help if she wants. Giving her a small smile and eying her blister with a look of 'may I have a look?' she waited till she allowed her.

Wren, though not close to every sister in Cambria, knew them all. She made it Valkyrie business to be familiar with their people to better protect them. An easy smile spread on her face as Waiola approached.
“I’m sure you’re right.” She said with a huff. “Finding the time is what is hard.” She noticed the woman’s willingness to help her, and nodded an invitation to inspect the blister. She didn’t tell the woman that it didn’t hurt her. She barely felt pain. Still, she had learned to be extra observant with her body to ensure she cared for it well.
