The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

(this thread is for @rian )
Odina and her guests would return to the heart of Cambria, Sigyn and Willa Wren had been left to watch and entertain Magda Ivanova but moreso watch while Odina and Rian went to her private residence. She dismissed the Elders but it didn't leave the pair weren't entirely alone as P'ol played on the floor with a wooden soldier and a Cambrian warrior doll.
Approaching P'ol she motioned for the girl to rise, "P'ol this is the Cheiftain of Coheed Rian Cyrilson and Cheiftain this is my youngest daughter, P'ol...her Father was a member of Hausten tribe."

There was no lingering over Magda Ivanova when they arrived or of the few men who traveled with them. He simply gave the men a hard look, understanding flashing in their face and then his eyes slid to Magda. A lot softer but still a silent command. One they had already discussed on the trip there. Watch, observe, see where they stand against Nevermere without drawing attention. And perhaps… let her work on her side project as well.
Rian ducked within the home and looked around. Scanning the surroundings and the one only being left within with them. P’ol gazed up at him and his lips twitched in greeting, making him look less menacing than normal. “Hello P’ol.” He said before turning his attention back to the Chieftess. “It seems Cambria has done well under its new rule.” Well… straight to the point was a lot easier than beating around the bush at this point.

P'ol looked at Rian with quite indifference and only lightly returned his smile before she stood and turned to her Momma. Odina squatted down level with P'ol, "Go with the elders little root and eat, I must speak with Rian alone," P'ol nodded and snatched up her soldier toy and took off silently.
"Don't be offended she's a child of very few words, the older two, one will either talk you to death or the other will challenge you to a fight or anything really competitive," Odina explained as she began to pour a basin of water, "but is that what you see or is that what you assume? The weaker women succumbing to the rule of another man and living the good life?" Odina didn't sound rude or condescending in her prying, "Things are very uneasy, like an animal putting pressure on the release plate of a snare...Isolde wasn't helping, branding women who procreated with Nevermere men," Odina spoke as she collected some furs and handmade soaps, "I'm the replacement and I've been doing my best to put out fires," she brought Rian the basin of steaming water and the items she collected, "...before we dine, perhaps you would like to clean up before?"
She took a step back and took a seat on a small stump of a chair, "That isn't all of course, do you know who I am? My connection to Cassian?" she'd pause with her questions.
