Reputation: Kimora has spent her lifetime cultivating her reputation. She ensures that there's always some manner of regal allure around the royal family by ensuring that whilst she remains a public figure, she also ensures that she remains enigmatic. The queen smiles, makes public appearances but rarely lets others in, tactfully dodging any questions regarding her personal opinions and beliefs. Giving off an impression of sophistication and grace, she is a patron of the arts and sciences and takes joy in exchanging with learned individuals. She observes protocol strictly and strives to maintain an appearance of dignity at all times.

To the outside world, in terms of diplomacy, she is welcoming but unyielding. If she greets foreign dignitaries and ambassadors, she will do her utmost to be the perfect host however will always refer them towards the council. Indeed, the woman takes Arynn Frey's value of reason and knowledge and places it on a pedestal, high about all other systems of government. Although she wields no real power herself, the queen ensures that she is not forgotten and remains a figure for the people, one who's presence is still very much felt.

Privately, she is demanding of her family. She wants and expects excellence and has little time or tolerance for foolhardiness which she deems might put at risk their reputation. In this respect, she can be strict and at times cold. Those acting out of line can expect to be on the receiving end of her tongue when out of sight of the crowds.  In terms of personal interests, she keeps some exotic birds in an aviary and is a keen gardener.

Combat Experience: The extent of Kimora's combat training is something that she keeps close to her chest. She prefers to leave her safety to her guards and is seldom seen carrying a weapon. She is however, like most of the royal family, capable of defending herself to a degree. She keeps a lightweight but exceedingly sharp blade concealed within her robes at all times, should her own protectors fail her.

Tale:
Kimora was the eldest child of the former king of Arynn Frey. From her youngest years, she was groomed to become the next ruling monarch. Her education was as formal and it was grueling, forcing her to grow up quickly, even by the nation's standards. It was essential that the future queen be prepared as soon as possible for the task that would one day fall to her.

Diligent, she proved herself to be an excellent student both in her more private etiquette sessions and through the finest and wisest teachers to be found. She achieved enlightenment at the age of sixteen, seeming sealing her place as a worthy future monarch. All the while, her parents ensured that she had a great knowledge of neighboring kingdoms, politics and their own history. Kimora's thirst for knowledge only grew and she made a point of always surrounding herself with the most learned scholars, craftsmen and artists, providing patronage and support to them whenever she could.

The future queen married at the age of forty-eight. Her husband was a good man. Proper and sensible, a scholar of reason, the perfect choice for someone who wanted and needed a partner who was stable, reliable and unlikely to give people anything to gossip about.

She ascended to the throne at the age of sixty-two in a sobre but dignified ceremony, the tone of which would mark much of her reign. When it came to raising her children, Kimora sought to give them as good an education as possible, all the while steering them away from any troubles and temptations which she deemed to be detrimental or unsavory. Although not technically in a position of government, the queen makes a point of ensuring that her presence is felt and never forgotten.
