OTHELLO ALLEMEADE
GENERAL
Name: Othello Allemeade
Age: thirty two
Birth Season: Hiems (winter)
Occupation: Pirate/Slaver trader/Mercenary
Citizen Status: Marquis
PHYSICAL
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 210 lbs.
Body Description: it is clear that whoever Othello's real father was, Othello took after him a good amount to details that contrast the standard Lorendale Allemeade look such as his strawberry blonde hair versus their blonde or dirty blonde, he has their blue eyes though. Othello has a strong muscular build from his years at sea. He is covered in tattoos.
PERSONAL
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Reputation: where do you begin?
In Lorendale he's never been a footnote of anyone....
Ask Coheed? They wanna sink the Crimson Rose and they want the head of that pirate...Cambria would agree, as the mysterious pirate they call Devil-Anse has terrorized them as well...
Devil-Anse? The Crimson Rose? Nevermere wished they'd Never....heard...about the blight that had picked off dozens of merchant ships as well as a few military units...
However you ask his loyal crew they would say their Captain was a fair and honest man, but also a psycho reckless bastard if they had ever seen one! Othello is in fact a wildly unpredictable man with cruel tendencies consider him to be half-insane - not in the sense of being impulsive, but in that he seems almost delusional, with an utterly fearless personality. Othello is prone to outbursts of anger or impulsive violence as everything he does seems to be for some sort of calculated purpose he just does what he feels like, and is self-assured in his own air of power, his gift, capable of cunning long-term strategies, and when need be extremely charming.
Combat Experience: Othello was for a time blessed to receive the best combat training thanks to his association to the Darcy family, however his fighting style was just as savage and unpredictable as he is, and he will use anything (pick up something, throw sand in an opponents eye, eye gouging, cheap shots; any dirty tactic he could use) at his disposal. As a pirate he prefers using a cutlass but can handle any sword, he isn't above using daggers either, and being out at sea didn't call for using a bow but he can handle a crossbow.
MAGIC
The primary application of his Gift, which is Metalkinesis, is the mental control over magnetism and the manipulation of both ferrous and nonferrous metal. While the maximum amount of mass he can manipulate at one time is unknown, he can manipulate a large number of individual objects simultaneously.
Othello's ability to wield his gift effectively is dependent upon his physical condition. When severely injured, his body is unable to withstand the strain of manipulating great amounts of energy. There is a possibility that Othello simply has a genetic predisposition to magnetism that simply makes it easy for him to manipulate it. He is also susceptible to physical and mental fatigue that can ultimately affect his ability to adequately use his powers.
Even though Othello seems very powerful his body can not withstand large amounts of stress or mental attacks so with attacks or combat damage sustained could break concentration or drain needed energy to use his gift, using his power longer than two hours will actually physically wear down his body (nose bleeds, he's broke fingers, crippling migraines, and on a few occasions he's even lost eye sight from strain). He can control a large amount of metal objects and the range is no more than hundred and twenty five yards anything metal that enter that area can be controlled.
LEVEL 10 UPDATE:
Enchanted Ship:
Saving Rael was probably one of the bravest and honorable actions Othello Allemeade has ever done, the reward for his actions was the second Arynnite enchanted ship. However it was damaged and in decommission until the Arynnite captives repaired the enchantments. After a few weeks the ship has been repaired, his ship has the ability to both fly and submerge fully under water! When flying the enchantment itself is in the sails that generate a field around the ship allowing it to float much like when in the water. When going under water the sails help the ship generate a bubble around the ship.
LEVEL 20 UPDATE:
Metal Mimicry - the ability to transform his entire body into a form of "organic steel", Othello must transform his entire body including his organs into this armored state; he cannot transform only a portion of his body. When he transforms, he gains approximately 1 ft in height (6'3" to 7'3") and his weight is more than doubled (210 pounds to 420 pounds). In his armored form, Othello can manipulate himself (not his physical form; he's just made of metal) so while his strength doesn't increase say he throws a punch he can control himself heaving his whole body into the punch and to a lesser degree Othello can fly at low levels, but the form also affords him increased durability. He's very heavy in this form and his speeds like running and even fighting are slower. While in his armored form, Othello requires no food, water or even oxygen to sustain himself and is extremely resistant to injury. He is capable of withstanding great impacts, falling from tremendous heights, certain magical attacks, and electricity (hes a giant conductor in a sense which is more dangerous for those around him; however heavy and prolonged exposure to electricty can cause wear and damage to his metal form). While he has great resistance to temperature extremes of hot and cold, extreme heat followed by rapid super-cooling has been shown to cause damage. Othello can stay in this form for up to three hours, anything longer will force the meal form to retract until Othello is rested.

Tale:
Othello is the first born son of Indigo Allemeade, the non-gifted Allemeade and the youngest sister to Bayard and Marek Allemeade. His father was a Darcy but not just a Darcy but a married man and non-gifted just the same which angered Othello's two Uncle's and they banished her from the family entirely (a curse far worse since she wasn't gifted) for her actions. Bayard kept Othello the baby just in case he turned out to be gifted.
She left him a ring as the only token of her memory. Nothing else is known about what happened to his Mother except she was living a life of squalor until a Coheed raid left her presumed dead. Othello held onto that little nugget of truth that his Uncle's just washed themselves of his Mother without a second chance. Othello was a wild child and unruly the Darcy family alone couldn't control his many bad deeds, Bayard kept Othello under heavy rule himself but it just made Othe rebel harder. His second betrayal came when Uncle Bayard left for Nevermere, leaving behind not only his own children in Lorendale but Othello too. Othello went so far north that he didn't stop until he hit the water, where he found his first true love. The Darcy family cared so little and were happy to be rid of the blight known as Othello Allemeade they didn't even look fro him.
The Dregs was the first pirate crew he joined, he quickly found a place with them because of his gift as a metal bender. They were a terror upon the sea for anyone, Othello had the rage that shattered their targets will to fight and he was bloodthirsty enough to never hesitate and go beyond...few targets survived...the ones that did were merely allowed to live to spread the warning that the Dregs ruled the sea. The mere title of shipmate was outgrowing Othello's needs so he started recruiting his own set of men...
Othello led his fellow crew mates to call mutiny over their current captain which they killed and those who didn't follow their new captain. He would hit fishing ships bound for Nevermere, merchant ships, he blindly attempted attacking Arynn Frey trading ships and even terrorized Cambria and parts of Coheed from his ship. A ship which as time went on grew bigger and big enough to gain a nickname, the Crimson Rose for its blood wine red sails, but it garnered Othello the handle of Captain Devil-Anse.
However fate has a new destination for Othello Allemeade, as word spread that the collar and enslavement of Gifted had finally ended in Lorendale that the family's of the old war had been reinstated including the Allemeade family Othello felt the sudden urge to return home. This required Othello to make landfall which was limited as he had made enemies with Nevermere, Coheed, and Cambria all that knew the Crimson Rose. He devised a plan to hijack a merchant ship that would carry him and thirty of his crew to a remote location in Coheed where they would only have to make a small covert trip into Lorendale. A wicked storm however landed them somewhere in Cambria with just fifteen of his crew still alive. Stuck with the dilemma of either finding another route through the unknown Cambria Othello found himself being hunted by their women! He left his mark there as he fled into Coheed and into the path of the one women who pained his ass. Nyx.
The pair agreed to trek through Coheed for Lorendale where they would part, but Othello being the devil he was beat and took advantage of Nyx just after beating and savagely murdering a group of Royal Guards including leutinetnet @erik. A scuffle and altercation at the palace separated the two, Othello didn't know the pregnant Nyx was betraying him as he snuck away from a cousin to visit the Eldouir estate.
His visit ended with his incarceration. Then from their cell he was jailed in the palace dungeons for months and months and months collared like a dog. The pirate has found his freedom (probation actually) under the Queen....what's his next adventure?
