The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

This fall and winter was a period of low activity for the site, but even so, the Dresmond board has continued to simmer with excitement. This kingdom has moved from distant side dish to a dramatic main course in the world of Terra Nova. A big shout out to members Heather, Nix, and Darkest whose high activity has helped lead it through a renaissance into a new era!

Keion stood, listening intently to his brothers words while his eyes continued to watch the other gathered Blackwoods. He took the folded pieces of paper from Cyrus Parric and tucked them away into his pocket, leaving them to read for later. Only when it seemed Cyrus was done speaking did Keion turn his gaze to him. He offered him a small smile and nodded, "You do not need to order me, this is something I will do for our family and for Arynn Frey. I understand the risks. I will prepare and leave immediately." He rested a hand on Cyrus's shoulder, holding his brother's gaze for only a moment. He then looked over at @evander, offering him a nod before he would turn to leave.

Diogenes smiled, sipping his wine and watching the commotion settle and then resume. How fun. He waited until he caught Cyrus' gaze and held his cup of wine up as if to toast his nephew before drinking deeply.
At least this meeting was more stimulating than most.
Evander acknowledged his brother’s thanks with nothing but a tip of his head. He would always stand by Cyrus, in this and all matters, but in this particular case Evander was in complete and total agreement. Now that the Blackwoods were once again united in common cause, there was no force in Arynn Frey or beyond that could stop them. None.
He listened attentively to Cyrus and Keion, sharp eyes moving from one to the other while his face remained flat and expressionless. He wasn’t surprised when Keion accepted. His brother’s value lay in the skills Cyrus was asking him to put to use. It was only logical for him to take up Cyrus’s offer, and Evander knew his younger brother to be no fool. He nodded as his brother left, eyes moving back to Cyrus as Keion moved away. “The council has chosen wisely,” Evander’s eyes tracked for a moment over the crowd, his voice low as he spoke, “Let us hope their resolve holds. We cannot afford for anyone to get,” Evander thought, choosing his next word carefully, “squeamish.”
To say that this meeting was enlightening was an understatement. No, no, no. Not enlightening in that way, just in the normal/general sense of the word. He had no idea that his family was quite this ambitious. In their enchanting goal and Arynn Frey politics, certainly! But to look outside of Arynn Frey. To intentionally want to make moves with other kingdoms in order to expand their own kingdom. Wow. Just...wow! Honestly, he wasn't sure how to feel as the thought had simply never occurred to him before.
Pietro stayed seated, watching as others stood up around him, looking up at them from his seat and listening to their little side conversation. He hadn't been sure of what to expect when he had been allowed to come with his father and he just needed time to absorb all the information.
