Sylas didn't particularly enjoying being 'summoned' but he supposed he better get used to it when it came to Akagi, knowing he would rule one day. And honestly, it was better to be summoned than to have the responsibility that Akagi did. Sylas had been busy with his own project over the last several years but unlike Akagi he remained unmarried and didn't have any children, a far cry from the four that his brother currently had.

What he did have was Kezia and Raiden, an attachment he could have never guessed for himself but couldn't imagine life without. It made him at least sort of understand the relationship that Akagi and Althea had. He set aside his own project and Kezia was out at the moment which left him no excuses to turn down the request. Besides, he was actually curious. So Sylas made his way to Akagi's shop and walked in without knocking. He had been invited after all.

He didn't speak either. He simply walked over beside his brother to peek down at what he was working on.

The chaos and lack of organization around Akagi made Sylas feel tense and on edge. His shoulders tightened as he drew into himself, careful not to touch anything as if the mess was somehow full of germs. He was confused at first when Akagi first spoke until he spotted the glass rabbit. Funny way to do an enchantment to stay in touch. There were others ways to do it, but whatever floated Akagi's boat.

He blinked as Akagi made his statement. "Not 'may'," he said after a moment. "We 'do'. I told Cyrus about that ages ago. He said he was going to take care of it. Has nothing been done?" he asked.

Sylas was...impressed with his brother for deciding to take this on. He had no desire to step into the matter himself but he had no problem with assisting with stealth. "I have heard of shoes that can do that," he told Akagi. "Though I do not have any. I do have a pin you can wear on your clothes. When you press it then you become invisible." He stated it all matter-of-factly with little emotion. He rarely showed his true emotions.

"I won't tell anyone, you have my word," he said.

Sylas nodded when Akagi liked the idea of the pin. He would be sure that he got that too him as soon as this conversation was over. He shook his head though at the following question. "Very little." They seemed so primitive in his mind that he had not bothered to dive too deep in his study of their culture.

His study over the last several years had been specifically focused on magic. "They do seem have a form of magic of their own though, born with various abilities that can make them stronger, faster, better adept at hearing. That sort of thing."

Yes, it seemed to smart to disguise oneself in other ways but the more Akagi talked about it, the less secure that Sylas felt about this whole plan. His brother with the Crown Prince. To go and do this on his own was definitely a risk and if anything happened to him...no, he could not think about that.

"You know, that's a very good point. But you are married to the Princess of Nevermere. We are tied with Nevermere and have a connection to them, technically Coheed belongs to them. Have you considered speaking to the King? Perhaps he can assist us in retreiving our enchanter. I guess what my question comes down to is what your purpose is for this mission?"

Sylas' eyes did, indeed, widen at such a blunt response coming specifically from Akagi. He had not seen it coming and honestly hadn't seen it in him. He couldn't decide how he felt about it. He was unbothered by the idea of getting rid of the enchanter. He simply wasn't sure what to do with this new information about his older brother.

It was also quite interesting to note how little Akagi trusted his brother in law. He supposed he'd always assumed that the relationship was a good one, given the fact that the marriage took place at all. It suddenly made him wonder how he actually felt about his wife. Was Akagi playing a long game that Sylas had been too wrapped up in his own life to notice?

He accepted the drawing and nodded slowly as Akagi explained what he wanted it to do. "Seems useful," he said, trying to calculate how long it would take him to make.

"I didn't say it did," Sylas commented. 'Barbaric' was not the word that Sylas would used to describe it and he certainly had no issues with doing that to someone. "It'll take me..." he calculated it in his mind, trying to figure out what it would take to create something like this. "A little over a month. Five weeks or so," he stated.

He dismissed the thanks. He had never been very good at accepting it. "Well. We've all been well." What more could he say about it. "And yourself? Althea? The kids?" Small talk wasn't his thing but he knew the steps to follow when it felt necessary.
