Body Description: Octavius is a good, manly height with a lean build and well-muscled form. When working, which is most of the time, he is found clad in his soldier's uniform. When in civilian mode, his attire consists of simple clothing, nothing fancy but not rags. He walks with a swagger in his step not born of arrogance but of a constantly roaming desire for humor and mischief. He contorts his face often in conversation, and talks with his entire body.

Alignment: Chaotic Good
Reputation: Octavius believes in the goodness of people. He's an optimist and a problem-solver, ten times more likely to be found with a smile on his face than a frown. He makes friends easily and tends to keep them. He generally considered to be humorous and charming, and isn't afraid to entertain. His emotions are well-balanced and, despite his daddy issues, he can't complain about any childhood traumas. While he live a life that revolves around the military he isn't actually as judicious and lawful as one would think. Regardless of decisions he sometimes makes that he shouldn't, Octavius isn't too proud to apologize.

Combat Experience: Octavius was first introduced to combat during his years of mandatory training. He learned to masterfully use his body, training his form to be strong, dexterous, flexible, and quick. He excelled in archery and close combat, especially wrestling and boxing, and was even trained by @logan for a time. He has yet to see battle but is eagerly awaiting the opportunity.

HISTORY

Tale:
Clive and Optha Turner were ordinary commoners who worked hard enough to get by, have a home, and raise a family. When their children were young, Clive inherited an old inn nestled in the countryside. He moved his family there, fixed it up, and poured blood, sweat, and tears into it in order to make it what it is today.

Octavius was not destined to be a soldier, but he grabbed destiny by the balls and twisted until he was able to make of himself what he willed. He was born with a heart condition, see, and was a sickly sort of child. He left his mother's womb much too soon, rendering him weak and little to boot. In the early days he was fed from a dropper, strengthened by potions, and held against skin almost constantly to keep him from drifting into a sleep from which he'd never wake. He was a physically weak and emotionally needy child, the second of four but always doted upon the most by his mother. This was why, he always assumed, the connection with his father was never made.

When his twelfth birthday rolled around and the mandatory training that all were subjected to began, Octavius' mother tried to fight it. She appealed to every power that would listen to keep her son home, but he was forced to give his hours to the military just like all of the other kids. It was the military, in the end, that saved him. It saved him from his mother who would never let him stretch his legs; it saved him from his weak body by forcing him to grow stronger; it saved him from the darkness of a life of feeding chickens and helping run the family inn.

When Octavius was seventeen there was an accident near the inn. An important man from an important family endured a life-threatening injury from a wolf while on a hunt. Those with him rushed him to the closest structure--the Turner Family Inn. With Optha's quick work and skill with herbs and potions she was able to save the nobleman. He returned to Skia singing the family's praises, and after making a personal request with King Julius, the Turner family was elevated to a status of nobility and given the surname Wulfbrand. Though an honor, the noble title did little for the country bumkins other than given them the fancy 'Lord' and 'Lady' titles, which only mattered at court. While Octavius' older brother sought to use this by moving to Skia, Octavius enlisted into the military the very day of his eighteenth birthday and never looked back.

Octavius was stationed in Cambria within his first year in the military. While some only did stints there, Octavius opted to remain. He spent over four years living among the women with great strength, observing their culture, learning their ways. In Ver 827, however, he was summoned home, having been selected to become a witch-paired soldier.
