Cyrus was satisfied as the fight seemed to end before it had really begun, and Fabian Winters slinked past him into the tavern. "That's one less problem to deal with, I guess." He muttered under his breath with some amusement, before one Lieutenant @faylin appeared by way of a nearby street, smoothly extracting one of the mugs from his hands and handing it off to the other soldier before giving him a light reprimand and going on her way. With one last glance at Octavius Wulfbrand , Cyrus turned and followed after her into the crowded tavern.
Of course, the noise and the clamor of the crowd had not died down a bit in the moments he'd been standing outside, and Cyrus wrinkled his nose as the light stench of the soldiers who'd just finished their patrols reached his nostrils. At least it wasn't the worst smell he'd ever been subjected to. Choosing a direction, he began maneuvering his way through the now quite intoxicated crowd of soldiers, bumping them this way and that, and holding his mug up over their heads so as to avoid spilling it; just as he had when heading the opposite direction. The energy of the room was infectious and Cyrus found himself beaming with delight even as he was jostled in turn. It was to be expected given the utter lack of elbow room at this point.
Finally emerging from the crowd, Cyrus quickly scanned the bar area in search of new faces and potential new friends. Most were preoccupied with their own conversations and dramas, but his eyes settled quickly on the noblewoman from before, Elodie Atwood , who had made such an entrance. Perhaps it could be blamed on the ale, but he was altogether intrigued and determined to know her, if for no other reason than her sense of style. Though she'd just engaged in conversation with Rhedara Shannon , he strode up with the sense of purpose only slight inebriation could offer to an eighteen year old man freshly graduated from military training. "My ladies," He said, addressing the two as noblewomen, and respectfully inclining his head to them with a slight smile, "My name is Cyrus Parric. I hope I'm not interrupting, and that you'd have no problem with a little company this evening."
