The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Zarha have heard about Bex like how can you not she is a paired witch Lieutenant. Today she headed to look for her there been something she want to ask her. Like she heard what Brekker can be. that she strive to show other witches to use their magic, their powers to the best of their abilities. Zarha need all the help she need. Especially with the potential war coming up, the witches in Nevermere need to be the strongest they can be if they was to take down the treat of Eldouirs. She wasn't a paired witch. She might one day, but if she was to be the strongest she want to be. the find the power that is with in is very important.
There was a look of if i was to improve to prove my worth to move within the ranks. She reached the Lieutenant's door and she didn't take the time to think about it. She just knocked on the door. She waited to be let in.
Bex didn't spend a lot of time in her office, she had far more pressing things to do than paperwork and therefore was often behind. She really ought to get a secretary or something but she also struggled with delegating when she wanted things done a certain way. She had only stopped by her office for a few moments and was about to talk out the door when there was a knock.
She opened the door as she pulled on her fingerless gloves, dressed in her uniform and heading to the training field. "Who are you?" she asked the woman unceremoniously. Bex had never been one to waste time on niceties.

When the woman opened the door and asked who she was. Straight to the point she liked it. "Zarha Sliva Lieutenant." She doesn't want to beat around the bush. From the looks of things she seems like the sort of woman who would like direct. "I am here because I heard that you are a woman who like to push witches to their potential. I know there more to me than what i can do. I need somebody like you to push me. firm, direct don't care about being soft." Zarha explained.
explaining why she is here and what she want out of it.
It wasn't uncommon that when people saw how direct Bex was that they wisely mirrored her behavior. She didn't like to waste time with people who stumbled over their words or took too long to explain what they wanted. Luckily this woman, Sliva, had been straight and to the point.
Bex stepped out of her office, turning to lock the door behind her as she continued to make her way to the training field, assuming the woman would fall into step to follow along. "And what is it that you can do?" she asked, not bothering to look at the woman as she strode across the grounds with long, focused steps.

Zarha follow straight behind Bex. No time to waste. If she was to be the best then she have to take the chance without waste. "I can do summoning though small in size at the moment. I am better at incantations specifically those of fire." She didn't beat round the bush. She seemed to be the sort of woman who want to be straight to the point.
Small summonings and fire incantations. It was a start but not much of one. "And why come to me?" she asked, her tone stern and direct. "You are not a paired solider and thus not under my care. Shouldn't you go to your own Lieutenant?" They had reached the training area and Bex pushed open the gate to step inside where other soldiers were already doing drills and training. The paired soldiers who she worked with turned immediately to give her a proper salute of greeting as she strode past them.

Bex got a point why couldn't se go to her Lieutenant. "I could of gone to her, but when you want to be the best, you need somebody who do not care about your feelings. Not scared to push you near to breaking point. You need to go to someone who will do that." She knows she needed more espically if she wanted to be ready for the up coming war. They fighting the Eldouirs and from what she heard they are powerful, she haven't seen what they are capable off but they don't sound like the sort of people that will go down without a fight.
Bex halted in her steps and looked at Zahra with a stern, scrutinizing gaze. It was clear that this girl was young, new to the military, at least of that beyond the mandatory training. "Hierarchy is very important in the military, Miss Sliva. Without organization the whole thing falls apart. My job is to focus on paired soldiers, of which you are not. Did you even attempt to speak to your own superior first?" she asked and then held up a hand to signal a halt. "Don't answer that."
She looked out to the training yard for a moment and then back to the young woman, eyes as dark and dangerous as always. "Though I do admire your desire to be more than what you are. I have a day off tomorrow. I will give you one training, Miss Sliva. One. Meet me here tomorrow at sunrise."
Without waiting for an answer she dropped her hand and walked away. She had work to do.

Zarha stood there and looked at the lieutenant as she spook to her. Yeah she should of gone to her lieutenant and asked her first. She wasn't gonna break or get get emotional because she was the one to come here and asked her for training. However. in the military there is hierarchy and that needs to respected, it can't full apart now well ever in reality.
When Bex said that she was willing to give her one training and only one, and that to meet her here tomorrow at sunrise. "Yes Lieutenant Brekker." She bowed her head slightly in respect as she watched the lieutanent walk away and leave her. in a way she was looking forward to training with Brekker. Use her knowledge. from this small interaction she seems like the perfect woman to help her.
