The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Our dearest and lovely admin welcomed her new baby boy, Jet, on Sept 7th! We're so happy for her and her family! Congratulations Mama!! Your boys are all so lucky to have such an incredible mom to love them! God bless!
He had hurled Hadrian's orders at everyone in the throne room. Everybody was to gather in the messhall. Once that was done, the body of the young soldier that had been decapitated could be removed from the room before the (formerly) paired witches were brought back to the room so commander Usher could start his witch-hunt. With big steps, Aldrich was now making his way over through the corridors of the castle, every now and then having to stop to shoo some soldiers in the direction of the messhall. Nobody was to leave the castle.
As he walked past a door that was open just a smidge, he heard some voices coming from inside. The officer took a few steps back and opened the door. He saw Rhedara and Raff and it seemed like they were trying to gather potions. "The werewolves are gone. Stop what you're doing and take what you have to the messhall." It was an order to the both of them.
If they were to listen and start moving, Aldrich would stop Rhedara and look at Raff. "You can go. I need to have a word with Shannon in private." He hoped for the soldier that he would simply listen to the order without putting up a fight. Since they had left before Aldrich could attack Rhedara, they should have no way of knowing what he had been planning to do in the throne room, so there would be no reason not to trust Aldrich, especially not if Raff didn't know that Rhedara had cursed the officer not even les than an hour ago.
We won't call it quits. We'll call it the start.

"Sure." Terach answered, doing an about face and left. You don't interfere with the chain of command; well not entirely. He walked slowly out the door, turned to wink at Red and waited just around the corner so he could hear everything. Besides, why wouldn't he wait for his girl to be done?

With Raff on her heels, Rhedara had run from the throne room with one thing on her mind: Get healing potions. The entrance of the werewolf would only mean lots of injuries if not death and she wasn't going to just stand uselessly outside of the throne room. finally found the storage room that had shelves of filled with potions.
She had started to grab potions, trying to identify the healing potions from the non healing potions when Abbott burst into the room with an order. She had started to obey and go to the mess hall when Abbott gave her a different order. She bit the inside of her cheek to hide her annoyance. He really wanted to talk about her showing up at the ball tonight now? Weren't there other, more important things for him to do?
Raff left her because of Abbott. Again. The 3 spiked drinks that were still circulating in her system made the annoyance that she would have normally felt into something sharper, hotter, but she kept a lid on it and waited for Abbott to say whatever it was he was going to say.

He waited until Raff had left the room before looking back at Rhedara. "You've really fucked up tonight, Shannon. I know it was you. Maybe you didn't have enough witches around you when you grew up to tell you that magic has its consequences, but you'll see for yourself what kind of consequences this will have." The anger was visible in his face, a vein showing on his neck even though he tried to keep his voice down. "This is not over yet."
"Now get your ass to the messhall. There are other witches that are just as reckless with their magic, apparently." He looked her up and down in disgust before taking a step aside so she would be able to leave, if she wished, but he would be right behind her to make sure she actually went to the messhall.

Rhedara, with everything that had happened had forgotten that she had cursed Abbott to drool like a dog, and his statement was vague enough that she did not connect the dots. Instead, she stood there wondering why he thought it was her that had caused the werewolf transformation. She didn't know the magic to do it, and even if she did, she wouldn't be rash enough to cause the transformation in a room full of allies. The stupidity of the statement irritated her more. The guy was just going to blame her for everything now, was he? It made her want to put a nasty curse on him, something that would make him see just how small he was, but she stifled the urge. She would need to lay low for a time first.
She didn't say anything more than, "Yes sir," in response to his order before exiting the room with the intention of going to the mess hall. She smiled when she saw that Raff waited for her after all, but didn't stop to say anything to him yet since Abbott was likely on her heels.

Nothing more than a yes sir, but that would do for now. He'd have to see Rhedara once this chaos was over. There were just too many witches and too much magic in the palace right now. Their focus was on the witch that turned Octavius into a werewolf right now, but Aldrich wouldn't forget about what Rhedara had done: curse him while she was under his command because she had cursed him before. The consequences were just stacking up. If only the punch hadn't clogged their minds so much.
Aldrich closed the door once they left the room and off to the messhall they were.
