The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Kasper is young enough to fall under the werewolf curse, yet it is dormant. Should the curse be activated his wolf form will be that of a white shaggy fur color keeping his smallness even though he is still rather large for a werewolf. His eyes also retain their green color.
Kasper and his two lackeys silently exited the mess hall and into the kitchens, "Alright so I, from personal experience, have been potioned before and tonight I believe the drinks served were spiked with something," upon entering Kasper continued to explain the situation and their job, "So we need confirmation," the kitchen staff were still present when they arrived, Kasper held up his hands, "Can I have your attention please, the drinks served at tonight's ball," the women and men working stopped everything they were doing and stared at the Leuitnent as he spilled out his commands, "I need every liquid involved located, and brought here, now," he turned to face his tag alongs, "what uh potions could make the user feel highly elated? False bravado or bravery? But...at the same time overly confident? Aggressive? Think about it for now let's help get this shit rounded up."
A man approached them, "we are doing as you asked si-lord?"
"Leuitnent," Kasper corrected him.
"Leuitnent, but as I was saying this should be fairly easy most of the drinks served tonight were in that back corner of the room," the man explained, "we poured them up and sat them out, a few soldiers, that's who they said they were, insisted on serving them... honor...blah ..blah.." he trailed off, Kasper looked at the Witches, "Go with him and look at the drinks."

Zarha followed behind Kasper as they walked towards the kitchen. This is the part of the castle she doesn't really see the often so in a way for her at least, is a strange sight for the young Witch. However if it was needed of her to be of help she will do what needed. "Well, from my knowledge of potions, the fortitude potion is possible known for giving any drinker the extra boost of courage. It quiet a common potion to get a hand on." She looks at rhedara to see if she has anything more to add knowing that she does have a love of potions.
As they walked in she kept quiet as she looked forward and she looked around and looking at each member of staff that currently in the kitchen to see if there was any fishy going on. Trying to keep her eyes and ears as open as possible to try to see or hear if anybody trying to hide anything.
When Kasper informed them to go to look at the drink she nodded. "Yes sir." She nodded her head as she followed the man to where the drinks are. "Who had access to the drinks and was there at any point where the drink was left unattended?" Her eyes looked at him waiting for the answer, she want to know if there was a good amount of time where the drinks was left without somebody by it would give somebody a good amount of time to spike it.

Rhedara listened to Kasper’s explaination of the situation along with his instructions. Seemed simple enough, although testing the punch for the potion would be tough. Rhedara was very good at making potions—it was something she and her mother had done many many times together and she found the act of making them relaxing. Despite her current fascination with curses, potion making was the magic she excelled in.
To the lieutenant’s question, Rhedara thought back on the various types of potions. None of the ones she knew would make everyone act that way, however, there was one that had some interesting side effects if taken in too great a quantity.
Apparently, Zarha had come to the same conclusion. Rhedara nodded her head to the other witch’s question, “I agree with Sliva. It sounds like a fortitude potion,” she said, “You may know it as ‘liquid courage.’ It’s made so that you tolerate pain better and it also fights exhaustion...but if you drink too much, well,” she made a face, “It increases the way your emotions come out, increases how much you feel them, and it makes the drinker more volatile. It’s like being drunk, but without the booze.”
