The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Change in how times flows. Was 4 IC seasons, now only 2 IC seasons per 1 OOC year.
5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Waiola was out and about she was asked to go where there was some training for Valkyries she know currently Viveka was currently in charge well Wren was away. However, she was asked because one of the warrior got hurt well training. It was a risk of training, it wasn't for the weak hearted and being a woman of Cambrian Valkyries was indeed the strongest of the strong and they was no playing around.
Like even though she was a warrior she know this is one of the reason she better at healing then anything else. She was currently finishing up, "Shut up and stop whining. You are lucky, this could of been a lot worse. The break could be a lot worse." people whining when she was trying to work on them make working on them harder. However there was still a sympathetic voice in her.
Waiola looked at the healers she had with her "Take her back to base make sure she rest. I will talk to Viveka." They all nodded as they using their Cambrian strength to lift the warrior.
Once out of the way she walked over to Viv. "I think she will make a full recovery if she not a stubborn woman and listen to me and rest." She laugh softly. "I guess she rather be out here training."
The one constant in Viveka's life had been the Valkyries. Even when it felt like the world had been ripped out from underneath her, even when she had to keep herself from cringing every time she saw Isolde, she still had the Valkyries to lead. With the threat of Nevermere constantly looming inside their village, Viveka wanted her warriors to always be in top condition and ready to fight at a moment's notice. Regardless of what she thought about their Priestess, if Isolde commanded them to war, she would gladly follow.
But with such hard training came the risk of injuries, and the telltale crack of bone breaking had sounded across the Nest that morning. A younger recruit, one who was perhaps pushing herself too hard to catch up to the oldest Valkyries, cradled her arm against her chest as Viveka escorted her to the healers herself, leaving the others to continue their training.
She hovered nearby, outside the tent, her face tipped up to the sky to soak in the rays of sunshine that attempted to chase away the nipping cold of Hiems. The sound of footsteps approaching caught her attention and she turned to find Waiola walking towards her, as well as noted the retreating back of the young Valkyrie.
She grimaced at the healers words, "She is young and is pushing herself too hard. I failed her by allowing her to work as hard as she was." Her eyes softened as they looked towards where the Valkyrie had gone, regret plain on her features.
Waiola gave Viveka a reassuring smile. "Don't blame yourself on this, she not the first Valkyrie who pushed herself and I promise you she won't be the last one either. Things like this happens and some learn where their limits are." She looked in the direction Viveka's eyes look. "She is in the best care she can get, with my mothers and sisters inside we look after each other."
"Do you want to sit for a bit?" You look like you could have somebody to talk to?"
She knew Waiola was correct and that injuries could happen to any of them, young or old. Something as simple as not stretching properly before a hard training session could injure a seasoned Valkyrie. Perhaps it was the other things looming over her that made her even more protective of the women recently.
She looked back at the blonde healer, dipping her head slightly. "I know she is, and I thank you, all of you, for your help and care." She considered Waiola's offer to sit and talk, but she didn't really know the woman that well. She couldn't speak about the things that haunted her with the women she did know well, let alone someone who was practically a stranger.
But she offered a small smile, "I could talk for a bit, sure." She'd follow Waiola to wherever the woman would lead her before asking, "Have you been busy this season? Or are the women healthy?" It was a general question, encompassing all of the village.
"it is nothing. Even though I hat seeing my fellow sister hurt in anyway, we all gotta look out for one another and this is how I look after everyone." It was true like she was a good fighter all Cambrian's are but she was a healer, that where she shines the most and that where the village need her.
She took her to a stone that near the healer hut and she sat down one it. "Thankfully not as bust which is a good sign, most of the time it just woman coming in giving birth to beautiful daughter which is always a joyous moment. However I had to sit with one of our sisters well she was taking her last breath.
Viveka nodded slowly, a shadow of sadness crossing her face at the mention of the loss of one of their women. "It is sad, but it is the way of things. We must take solace in the knowledge that the All-Mother protects them and sees them back to their ancestors."
She fell quiet, staring out into nothing in particular. "It must be wondrous, to witness the cycle of life, from birth to death."
