The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Change in how times flows. Was 4 IC seasons, now only 2 IC seasons per 1 OOC year.
5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Revna was steady in her movements, and while it was unfortunate to knick Kelder, that didn't stop her from keeping the trident wedged. It also gave her a far better position, the high ground you might say.
"Grab her legs." Shouting the command to the other warriors, she wanted this handled quickly and she would attempt to keep the trident stable as her sisters helped pin Kelder's other limbs down. The poor bird needed to find her way back home, and Revna knew it was her job to cage her to bring her back.
Sigyn yelled out in pain when Kelder's hatchet managed to cut her fingers off. Luckily @revna pinned Kelder down, and this gave Sigyn the time to wrap some fabric around her hand to stop the bleeding.
With the good hand she had left, she moved forward to take a hold of Kelder's legs, together with some other warriors that cake forward to do what Revna had asked of them.

Kelder was outnumbered and out(wo)manned. The other warriors would successfully pin Kelder’s legs after some flailing from the once-Valkyire as she unsuccessfully tried to unseat the trident. Kelder was pinned, escape becoming a distant unlikelihood.
Sigyn, down two fingers, would be bleeding profusely from her hand. The wrap helped some, but the Cambrian would need a healer — and soon.
As she tried to hold Kelder's leg, she noticed that the wrap wasn't helping as much as she had hoped. The cloth was turning a dark red, and the Seeer knew she had to get out of here to let a healer take a look at her hand. So she let go of the leg, turning to @revna. "I'm sorry, sister, I need to go." She hoped Revna would understand, but she thought she would. They couldn't afford to lose warriors, so she needed to get to a healer as soon as possible.

Revna kept her grip firm, eyes sadly watching Kelder , but in no way lessening her pressure.
Shouting at one of the women to grab some rope she watched Sigyn run off. She wasn't entirely sure why the woman had chosen now to flee, but she would certainly ask questions later. Now was the time for action, and she wanted to get Kelder the help she needed fast.
And the sooner she was back with Isolde the better. So the Cambrian women would attempt to bind Kelder's legs together and then her arms. If successful they would hoist her on Revna's trident, dangling underneath like a pig for slaughter to go back to where she belonged. Where the All-mother could save her soul.
Kelder wouldn't put up much more of a fight, she had lost this one but she still had her chance to get at Isolde. They were taking her straight to the woman she aimed to kill or die trying.
Revna instructed one her fellow soldiers to clear any weapons off Kelder as they walked, her pitying eyes on the woman who had lost her way. All because of the evil Nevermere soldiers who wanted to impose their lives on Cambria. But it wasn't a place for stone walls and rough lines. Freedom couldn't coexist with their oppression, and the All-Mother would see to it they were freed.
"You'll find your way again sister. The All-Mother and Isolde will guide you." Smiling softly she led the way, ready to deliver Kelder to the priestess.
