The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Ever since she heard that there was a half-nevermere child living amogst her village and that somebody who was meant to be a well respected member of the village do this. Waiola did take it upon herself to listen to make sure that The priestess safe, keep the all-mother protected. She even came to the sanctuary to ask if everything okay.
Today she was sitting outside of the Sanctuary shocking up the Hiem's sun looking forward. "Please protect Priestess All-mother. She needs it. Make her feel the warmth and love that so many of her daughters feel for her. She needs you right now." She was praying to the all mother hoping that she will hear her prayers. He desire to want to keep the priestess safe. She was so caught in praying that she doesn't know who walking up behind her.
Sigyn had been praying for a long time. She hadn't eaten in over fourteen hours and in combination with the demanding trancework, the Sanctum Guardian was feeling a little weak and faint. She left the room she had been praying in after forcing herself back to the physical realm to get a fresh breath of air. Goosebumps formed on her arms when her body felt the cold Hiems temperature. Sigyn closed her eyes and took a deep breath, feeling more awake and energised with every portion of cold air that filled her lungs. But a voice reached her ears, so Sigyn opened her eyes. They fell upon a sister sitting not very far away. The blonde recognised the healer Waiola and silently approached.
"Are you worried about our Priestess, sister?" she asked.

When Sigyn approched and spoke Waiola jumped a little bit and then realize who it was giving her a weak smile. "yes sister, I care about her. I just pray that the all-mother hear my prayers and protect her and give her guidance on what to do." She looked forward and bit. "Do you want to pray with me?" Asking her sister.
Sigyn sat down in front of Waoila, her eyes and facial expressions soft. "Do not fear, Waoila. My mother is a strong woman, the strongest woman I know. But I will pray with you, pray for clear guidance and protection." She offered Waoila a hand to help her up, after she had stood up herself. "Let us pray inside, where it was warmer."
If Waoila followed, Sigyn would return to the room she had been praying in moments ago. Here she would sit down on the ground again, cross-legged, and offer her hands to her sister so they could hold them while praying. Then she would close her eyes and let the smell of the incense fill her nose. "Oh mighty All-Mother, hear our prayers", she started. Guide our Priestess, show her the way, give her insight, for we want her to continue to do as you please."

Waiola looked at Sigyn give her a soft smile her blue looked into her blue eyes. "I know she is strong that what I admire about her." Taking her sister's hand as she offered it her to stand up. "The Hiems air is fresh but it a bit chilly." She laugh softly as she agreed to pray inside.
Following Sigyn to the room she was praying in before she entered she could smell the incense and it relaxed her body as she walked in sitting in front of Sigyn taking in both her hands closing her eyes breathing softly. "Protect her from all who wish to do her wrong and from those who wish to bring your name down in vein. Show her the path for her to walk for we will follow."
After Waiola had added words to the prayer, Sigyn remained sitting with her eyes closed and her hands holding the healer's hands for a few more minutes. "Please accept this offering, All-Mother." The Seer opened her eyes and softly let go of her sister's hands before getting up and walking over to an altar. She poured a cup of wine and placed it on the altar, spreading her hands and closing her eyes once more while focusing on the intention of letting this wine be an offering. "This wine is our blood, flowing through our veins, keeping us alive and breathing so we can serve you."
Then she turned around to face Waiola. "Sister, tell me, who wishes our Mother harm?" Sigyn was aware of what was going on with Kelder and the other Valkyries, but didn't know Waiola quite as well as her mother and Revna. She wanted to hear what the healer knew.

Waiola watched as Sigyn offered the all-mother wine she was feeling it. When she looked back at her."I informed mother about Kelder, I know there is more out there, like I heard her talking to her sister and that there is a plan. A plan wanting to in Kelder words expose her. Even her youngest daughter a half-nevermere. Apprently they have a plan if people come after her. A plan her sister know and so does her daughters. I've been trying to go about trying to gather more information, see if anybody will to part information about what this plan is."
The blonde folded her hands in front of her, nodding once. "I see", Sigyn responded. She gestured at two chairs that were near the wall, inviting Waiola to sit with her if she wanted. Once seated, she would attempt to take a hold of one of Waiola's hands again.
"Do not worry, sister. You are a fierce warrior and a true daughter of Cambria. Have faith in our Mother and the All-Mother, for they know what is best. We must wait, but our Mother surely knows what to do now you have given her this information. We Cambrian daughters are strong, and those who do not stray from the path will help build the kingdom. A true kingdom." She offered Waiola a reassuring smile. This true kingdom wouldn't be soiled with Nevermerean blood.

Waiola walked over to the chair taking Sigyn hand in hers and giving it a soft squeeze. "She will guide us. I am just annoyed that Kelder would turn her back on mother and the all-mother like that. We meant to be a village, family. families don't do that." Sighing softly before she looked at Sigyn and give her a soft smile. "How have you been?"
The squeeze made her feel more connected to Waiola, suddenly feeling like she understood the woman a whole lot better. Sigyn was a sensitive soul to other people's emotions and aura, spiritually connected to everyone and everything around her. "Your frustration is understandable, sister, but don't let it consume you. Those who turn their back on the family can still be brought back, and can be educated and changed."
The healer asked how she had been doing. The corners of her mouth curled upwards. "I've been doing good, sister. I haven't eaten in quite a while, though. I might have to do that soon. How have you been, and how is your beautiful daughter?"

Waiola's unknowing of her started stroking Sigyn's hand with her thumb. Sighing softly as she looked at the Alta hefore she looked back at Signy. "Family stick together. through it all." Giving a warm smile.
However when she said that she hasn't eaten all day the smile fall. "Sigyn, you haven't eaten all day? please sister you need to eat. Let get some food in your belly. I would hate if something happen to you." She stood up trying to encourage her to stand up. Offering her hand. She know she asked about her daughter but her healer self was kicking in.
Sigyn nodded in agreement, a smile forming on her face herself. It made her heart happy that most of her sister still felt this strong about family. It was important to always have faith in the All-Mother. Perhaps it was easier for her than for others, since she had quite the connection with the spiritual world, but she would urge her sisters to never doubt the All-Mother.
Waiola looked serious and concerned when Sigyn mentioned that she hadn't eaten in a while. The woman chuckled and appreciated the healer instincts kicking in. She accepted the hand and stood up. "You're right, you're right. Let us get something to eat, we can continue to talk while I regain my strength." She would follow the healer.

Waiola was a healer at heart and even though she was also a warrior she wanted to make sure that everybody else was strong and healthy. How can people fight and be their best if they unwell. She make sure as they walked she keep a eye on her she doesn't want her fainting on her from low energy. It her healer brain when her sisters are in need she was work mode.
So when they go to a place where they was food, "Please sit well I get the food ready sister." She insisted if she tries to insist to help Waiola would point for her to sit down and give her a firm but caring glare as 'do what I say'
Sigyn followed her sister, the two of them walking in silence. She didn't mind the silence. The woman often enjoyed the silent presence of someone more than babbling on about nonsense that didn't matter in the bigger scheme of things.
Sigyn did what Waiola asked of her and sat down. She wanted to suggest helping, but Waiola's stern look made it obvious that the healer wouldn't allow it, so she softly laughed. "Your motherly instincts are a great addition to what a great healer you are, sister."

As she was preparing Sigyn something to eat she made sure everything prepared. "My mother growing up showed me the tools I needed when it came to healing, it's sometimes just as simple as self-care, which is often forgotten or our life is too busy to do what needed. answering your earlier question my daughter is blossoming to a beautiful young soldier. Curiosity do run through her bones though love to keep me on my feet but sisters are helping me."
