5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Izen’s fears and suspicions had been temporarily assuaged by his conversation with Kaalim…but before long he found himself growing antsy once more.
It was too quiet. Coheed was too compliant. He’d see Magda here and there and think to himself that she didn’t seem the slightest bit loyal to Coheed. She was playing a part, he was sure of it. But Kaalim and Rian weren’t.
It was times like these that a man had a choice. Izen could sit on his hands and wait, or he could take action. After much deliberation he decided on the latter. He was loyal to his brothers to a fault.
It took only a little prying to discover what hours of the day the Chieftain’s hut sat empty. The kids would be out, Rian would be out, and Magda was supposed to be out. A clarifying sniff made sure of that.
So with a casual gait Izen entered in. He wasn’t sure what he was doing, only that he needed evidence. Evidence to show Kaalim. To show Rian. To prove that Magda wasn’t the ally she was cracking herself up to be…
