The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
That's it. She was going to just throw herself out the nearest window to be done with it. This was embarrassing and awkward and just... she really wished the ground would open up right about now.
All she did was nod. And start praying that maybe Othello Allemeade wouldn't remember that she kinda sorta maybe said, or implied, that she had some sort of feelings for him.

The man didn't quite know what to say next. Eventually he decided on something. "But we're good, right?" He didn't want any tension between himself and other people in the military, and he liked Elletta. He wouldn't go as far as calling her a friend yet, but she was a nice girl and he liked her approach to life.
"....Yeah we're good." After a moment, face still flushed though not as red, she sat up and pulled her hands down from her face. "Sorry. But uh... no, you didn't overstep any boundaries last night. So, uh, thanks. For checking on me."

A soft smile appeared on his face, which wasn't as noticeable as it would have been if his mustache wasn't such a thick caterpillar on his upper lip.
"Good, good", he said, nodding a bit. "Well, uh- good luck with, uh- Othello, I guess." He chuckled a bit. He wanted to be supportive, but they also weren't that close. Apart from that, he didn't know how he felt about the age difference. But he wasn't her dad. So he didn't care.
