The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Change in how times flows. Was 4 IC seasons, now only 2 IC seasons per 1 OOC year.
5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

Quinton definitely knew the right buzzwords to keep Elliot very interested. As close as a friend as could be, thought I could trust him... It all reminded him of Ikisina. The man gasped slightly when Quinton said the man had been poisoning his family. "That's truly unbelievable", he responded. "You'd think he would be grateful for what your family gave him." He finished his glass of wine and blinked a few times. His vision was slightly blurry and his head was spinning. "Lord Featherton, you have no idea how happy I am to have met you this evening. I was starting to feel like nobody understood why I had to report Ikisina, but you've given me confidence again. I hope to see justice served."

“You would think he’d be grateful, or at least feel some sort of loyalty,” Quinton made a point to sound saddened by the memory, “We grew up together, and my family saw to it that he had nearly the same education as I did,” he sighed and pretended to drink from his glass, “It taught be to be careful around them.”
“I am happy to have met you, too, Lord Moore,” he’d raise his glass in invitation for a toast, “It is always good to meet those of a like mind. I too, hope that everyone gets what they deserve when this is through, but in the meantime, if you need a listening ear, I will be happy to listen.”
