The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
After the events of the past few weeks, Ber could say that he was far more familiar with the medical section of the military wing than he ever wanted to be. Brekker’s transformation of Wulfbrand had landed him in the infirmary for about a week, recovering from a severely dislocated shoulder, wounds along the outside of his right arm from where the claws had hooked him, cracked ribs, and the mother of all concussions, alongside general bruising and other smaller-but-related injuries due to getting thrown across the throne room by a werewolf and colliding first with the wall, then the stone floor.
Ber would not recommend the experience to anyone. Except, maybe— no, not even Woodwick.
That whole affair was, naturally, what had him walking down the now familiar hallways toward the infirmary. After weeks of using his arm without issue, Ber knew that his arm was fine, but the medics still wanted to follow up because… He didn’t know. Maybe because they enjoyed being a pain while healing other people’s pain. Regardless, the appointment had been made, and he had no choice but to follow orders. Stepping across the threshold, Ber cast a glance about the room, idly wondering if Haider was around given that she was training here, presumably under someone’s supervision.

Koralia been going over Privet Stormcrest notes this morning knowing that he was coming in today. He was injured during the ball, a night that was meant to be one of celebration turned into a night of chaos and to be fair it gave her a bad taste, sadly they lost a soldier that night because of poor leadership.
She mostly been making sure that Stormcrest come in to make sure that his shoulder had been healing up and mostly seeing if there any underlining problems however, she wasn't going to open admit that to him. She had asked @elletta to help along knowing she was the girl who helped bring the young boy into her wing. She was useful that night cause of the influx of injury the extra pair of heads were needed.
"Private Stormcrest injuries seem to be healing up decently, however, they are not fully there. I want him to do a few tests, and feel his muscle around the shoulder to see if it settled in place." She walked with @elletta towards the door as she noticed Stormcrest. "Morning Stormcrest. You will be with me and Private Haider today." Her tone is the soft voice. not in an way that undermining anyone but at the end of the day she is here for her patients and that the main thing.
Elletta didn't exactly enjoy causing pain, but she did like being able to figure out the cause so that she could take care of it and provide assistance. She liked that something from her childhood, for once, was actually useful and could be considered a good thing. Even if there were things that she was learning that could easily be twisted to do harm if she put her brain to it. Which, for the record, she definitely did not have those thoughts.
It was also interesting to learn that just because something was fully healed didn't mean that it was recovered. In the backwater town she'd grown up in, that wasn't a concept that was ever tossed around. And it hadn't come up much, if at all, in Coheed but then again, she'd not sought out full medical training there, but whatever the women had wanted to pass on as "payment" for her helping them train.
So it was with a quiet but vested interest that Elletta followed Head Healer Koralia Barkirtis's summons to join her. A quick "yes ma'am" was the most that was said as Elletta followed and listened to her.
Almost immediately, he caught sight of Barkirtis and Haider heading toward him, and the older woman’s words soon confirmed what he had suspected the moment he recognized where they were going. “Good morning, ma’am,” Ber replied, nodding his understanding at what she said. Another glance around. He wasn’t quite sure what she would want him to do, but he hoped they would move away from the door before she started.
