The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

@raff
Dear Raff,
I hope your journey to Cambria was uneventful and as pleasant as being on a ship stuffed full of soldiers can possibly be. Are things going okay over where you are? I’ve heard things are very different in Cambria even when you take that it’s made up of mainly women over there.
Things in Skia have been quiet. Well, quiet is probably the wrong word. Your friend, Kat, dropped by. She’s an interesting woman. Helped me put my magic usage in a different frame of mind, and her methods have taught me to contain myself a little more.
My new job is going well. My employer was particularly pleased with my conduct during a matter of business. It’s a little strange how much my mother’s teachings helped me. Who knew that skills learned from a formal noble would help me as a common assistant? If she were alive, I’d thank her.
The Ver festival will be coming up in a couple of days. The venders are already setting up their stalls and some of them have even started setting out some flowers and ferns. It’s making the market place look kind of pretty even if the flowers currently out are tiny little things.
