[For @revna ]
Darkness surrounded her. Wherever she looked, shadows greeted her. Sigyn felt lost and alone. She was cold and the stars in the sky weren't able to offer her any guidance. A bright light soared through the sky and disappeared into the nothingness that was still all around her.
Solitude is a blessing in disguise, a voice said, although it was only audible to Sigyn, for the voice sounded in her head. The Mother has become the Mom.
Sigyn felt uncomfortable and realised the All-Mother was trying to tell her something. Something had happened to Isolde. Something had happened to her, or her authority. She was only a biological mother now, not the Mother.
Revna's message has reached her well. Sigyn also felt like something was wrong. She hadn't seen her mother since before the Nevermere soldiers arrived, and the woman had found it odd that the Priestess hadn't shown her face during the dinner. She knew her mother didn't like the Nevermereans any more than she did herself, but it would have been a diplomatic move to at least acknowledge their presence. The absence of their leader had been the cause for many whispers and rumours, and her sisters had also asked her where the Priestess was.
Isolde had wanted to be alone that bight, so Sigyn had slept at the Sanctum, but not in the tower. A vision, it a nightmare, had come to Sigyn during this night. By the time she had woken up, her mother was still nowhere to be found. This alarmed her, and the Seer was in the middle of running though the Sanctum in the hopes of seeing her mother when one of her sisters approached her with @revna 's message.
Meet where the big birds fly.
She hoped her sister had been able to find the wings. She didn't know what was going on, but something was happening, and they couldn't afford to lose the wings @calliope had crafted for them. Isolde's disappearance couldn't be a coincidence, especially not so soon after the arrival of the Nevermere soldiers. If the woman had voluntarily went somewhere, she would have let Revna and Sigyn know.
So the blonde mounted her horse, Verrona, the horse her mother had given her, and rode out to the hills where they had tested the wings. As she approached the spot, Sigyn could see Revna and her horse. The Cambrian woman dismounted her horse and tied it to a tree before walking over to her sister with open arms, going in for a hug. "Something is wrong, I can feel it, and I know you do too."
