[ For Keelan Morrigan ]
It had been a long week at the Beldam, but as soon as she'd gotten home, she had written a letter to one Keelan Morrigan. It described the urgency with which she needed to speak to him, and she hoped that he would take it seriously. She mentioned his sister, but didn't feel comfortable explaining anything in writing. Given what Edith Byron was being held there for, it wasn't wise to let anyone in on the reason for her visit.
And if he didn't reach back out to her, well, she'd just storm right up to his door and demand to be let in.
Temperance wasn't involved in politics and she kept to herself for the most part. She'd told Thomas about what she had found in Beldam, though, and he had assured her that rumors about Gunne's arrest had already been going around. It was possible that her brother already knew all of this, but even if he knew anything about Beldam, it was unlikely he'd be able to - or want to - contact Gunne while she was kept in the place. Cam was very particular about visiors, and it would only prove to make Keelan look suspicious if he even tried to visit her.
Luckily, her letter had been promptly received and replied to and she'd gone right away. She stepped out of the carriage with haste as it arrived by the docks. She'd never known that people actually, permanently, lived on their ships, and it had her stomach turning. Temperance didn't care for the ocean much, but the ship was docked, so at least the comfort of the wooden dock was there for support. Thomas had warned her to be careful around Keelan Morrigan, but her thoughts remained firmly on Gunne's situation and nothing would stop her from letting the Morrigan know. As she stepped up onto the ship, she looked around, already feeling a bit lost. "Excuse me..." she called out to someone nearby. "I'm here to see Lord Morrigan?"
